So you eat half a kilo of raspberries, and then the rest of your diet is a juice cleanse? Here an example diet: oats for breakfast (6 g), a sandwich loaded with greens for lunch (4 g), chili for dinner (15 g). Throw in an apple for a snack (5 g). It's really not that hard.

The National Academy of Medicine recommends:

• Women 51 and older: 21 grams of fiber per day
• Men 51 and older: 30 grams of fiber per day

Now your numbers go with 45 g per day, but honestly that example diet would leave me hungry. I'd probably also have a peanut butter and banana sandwich (7 g). Throw in a small amount of berries or raisins into the breakfast oats and we've hit your higher target.

If your diet is so lacking in fiber that you need to take pills to make up for it, fix your damn diet.

It's pretty tough to say without looking at comparable recall rates for other companies. My Toyota Corolla had two recalls that I know about while I owned it, and Toyota is known for their reliability. Tesla is just always in the news because they're always in the news.

My current laptop is an i7 with 16 GB of RAM. Hardware requirements have plateaued pretty hard unless your trying to run something that requires the latest GPU.

I had a conversation about abortion with a friend once where, after a lot of effort by my to keep the conversation on topic, she finally admitted that having a child if the punishment you deserve for getting pregnant.

It's my understanding that term limits actually end up making for a worse government, because then you end to with a higher fraction of people who are new at their job. Like any other high-skill job, it can take a year or more before you start to get good at what you're supposed to be doing. Too many freshman means there's less continuity and stability in the government.

But this is all just a vague understanding, I haven't read up on it intentionally.

I agree with you, and I never delete what I post unless it was straight-up a glitch or a typo or something. But, I still think other people should have that option if they want it.

Nah, people should be able to take back what they said. No humans in all of history had to account for every thing thing they ever said. Better to let the past be forgotten. Can that be abused? Sure. But I think there's value in letting people realize what they said was bad and take it down.

Geologists all end up pulling oil out of the ground.
