gift cards yes, they bind your friend where to buy from + they expire
But i think cash can be a well made gift if you make the cash in a nice letter or an origami
But when anyone ends up giving 5€ to each other than it evens out and its useless

the only way that fossils can compete to "basically free energy after setup" is that there is a law or something that raises the prices of renewables to that of fossils so that fossils can compete
also coal gets taxmoney to make it cheaper

fossil energy plants also cant like be put on or off at any time. They often need a day on start or something so if one turns them off they are off for a while.
so they are used as a "baseline" while renewables can be put on or down depending on need (or run extra low to increase energy prices but psssss as they are not allowed to do so)

At least before the Deutschlandticket (Germanyticket) that allows travel with "short distance" trains the price still was too steep for very poor people to get monthly or yearly tickets (i am not talking about people with jobs) and they walked/biked (some that still want to save money refuse to buy the Deutschlandticket too). Or the infrastucture in rural areas is bad (especially where the AfD/Nazis are strong)

there could be some exceptions like worlds that actually have gods but there the gods would need to be like "the universe themselves"

blungt sounds like bringt (bringing)
hassenpfeffer is confusing me more my head splits it in "hassen"(hate)/"Hasen"(rabbit) and "Pfeffer" (pepper) which does not make any sense
