  • Wherever beehaw goes, I will gladly follow. I'd have a lot more content to share if I didn't fear an onslaught of bad takes and debatelords from other instances.

  • potentially better conversations happening on Lemmy

I honestly have the opposite opinion. I feel like better discussion happens in small select groups. I've not been impressed by the discussions I see in large groups of people. They almost always devolve into things like slurs, gender stereotypes, and worse.

But then I'm a frequent user of raddle, and my favorite discord server has 8 people, so that's more my pace.

  • I've started playing MTGO again because it's too hard to get together with my playgroup as often as I'd like. I've been lucky enough to find some nice groups of players lately.

We're relocating at work, and I'm so done with it already. Some people should just work from home while we're doing this imo because all they do is complain and add anxiety to an already stressful situation.

  • This makes me sad. My brother and his wife always tracked my niece and nephew, and I feel like it did more harm than good. I remember agreeing to drive my nephew to buy fireworks, and on the way home I swung by Target to pick up my best friend a gift for his wedding, and my sister in law called my nephew and threatened to take his phone away because he wasn't where he said he was going. Granted, I could have called, but it was a quick stop, and I didn't know at the time they were watching him 24/7.

  • You can soak it in industrial strength bleach, but that red tint is never coming out

  • If you look at what a raging tool the CEO is and the implications of the browser's association with crypto (no matter how optional), I think that Brave just attracts that type of person

  • Every time I hear this, I remember there were two "there it is" songs release in 1993, the other being "Whoot There It Is"

  • Have you ever interacted with a Brave user? No, they can't.
