  • This is really great, thank you very much!

I like Jerboa, but I have two lemmy accounts, and this will be a great improvement for browsing my second account.

  • There's a stopdrinking one, but unfortunately it's on lemmy.world, and we're not federated with them.

I like the idea of an addiction support community, and as a recovered addict/alcoholic, I'd be willing to help moderate such a community.

There is a community for addiction on raddle, but that's not part of the fediverse.

  • I have two lemmy accounts, but I find myself using this one most often because beehaw blocks the really bad instances. I really wish they'd implement this feature because I'd like to block the dedicated porn ones as well.

Here's a link to the feature request: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/2397#

  • The bad: I made the worst mistake at work I've made so far, so I'm getting started on the wrong foot. I'm doing what I can to fix it, but I dropped the ball on one of my clients, and it's tearing me apart.

Plus, it turns out Chuck Palahniuk is a raging misogynist, so I need to find a different book.

The good: Doggies are cute, and so are kitties

  • I like this as well. Sometimes I'll go to a park and just sit under a tree.

  • First, many don’t appreciate the clutter from awards

Yeah, because the only award that ever mattered to most users was gold. They messed that up, and now they're going to mess up even more.

I used to buy gold sometimes, which was always a waste of money but I could at least justify the $3.99 for the meme or whatever when I really liked somebody's comment or post, but I never spent a single cent on awards after they implemented the extended rewards system. Those awards were always laughably bad. They even locked some for premium users only. Just absolute clowns running that place.

  • Words like "hearty" are what separates the Chuck McGills from the Slippin' Jimmies

  • You're right, I shouldn't have said devs since it's usually something from above.

Same with "x" meaning anything except "exit this application," which isn't a web issue, but is one of my pet peeves as a user.

  • Oh man, especially those that have like 100 toggle switches you have to manually switch. I hate those so much.
