  • What even is the purpose of a ceasefire? I don't even understand why the occupation government is against it, they could use it for their advantage. Agree to a ceasefire, give some time for people to desperately try to escape Gaza, allow some aid to the people remaining there, and when it's all over and people stop seeing you as the monsters you are, then you can continue your "war" and less people will care.

Afraid Hamas might use that time and aid? Well don't worry, your army is already getting wrecked on the ground, but it doesn't matter to you; you can continue wasting equipment, men, and oxygen for as long as you like, while Hamas cannot. Your army will take control of the area, and either get rid of everyone there or get kicked out a second time, either way, you have achieved your actual goals.

  • There's another account "HotelRoom", that was created recently and is doing the same kind of trolling has the same opinions.

  • This is sarcasm, he's just using random words commonly used to justify this massacre. With the addition of "China" and "Qatar state news". Which some very intelligent folk here use to dismiss videos proving that the IDF doesn't consist of human beings.

  • Attacking civilians to stop an apartheid from getting more money and support is evil.

Making up reasons after you target civilians and journalists is another level of evil.

  • You can do this in Nemo by default, and for Dolphin you'll need to install the KDE "kio-admin" package.

  • They've been getting rid of people using US money, and yes openly and proudly.

  • I used to use Librewolf too, but I opted to just customize FFs settings and keep diagnostic data collection and "installing and running studies" on.

When I first discovered that Google gives FF a large sum of money to keep their search engine the default one, I immediately got paranoid and started researching Mozilla. I ended up using Librewolf for about a month and then decided to switch back because collecting anonymous diagnostic data wasn't such a big deal, and Google doesn't seem to influence Mozilla as much as I expected.

  • Because Firefox collects diagnostic data by default; which they used to achieve this improvement, but @possiblylinux127 doesn't like that.

  • He probably meant save them from their genocidal government and it's actions, but truthfully this nation has always been genocidal and it's by design.

  • This is intentional, the occupation government did the same thing with settlements in Gaza until people started supporting and joining Hamas. This ended up destroying the democratic PLO and Fatah government, giving them an excuse to blockade the stripe and make it unlivable.

Even though the Fatah government which is peaceful and recognizes "Israel" is still in power in the West bank, the occupation army, police, and their settlers continue to target Palestinians in the West bank killing them, and destroying their property. Isn'trael is not going to dismantle those settlements until a violent government takes power in the West bank, giving them an excuse to turn it into Gaza and from that into rubble.

This is what their government wants, and what their flag stands and has always stood for.

  • They can also currently stop protecting murderers in the west bank. So we don't have to ask how did a radical movement take power there a couple of years from now.

  • Let's discuss another place inside of Palestine where there is an opportunity for peace; the West bank ruled by the Fatah government, which recognizes "Israel". They also have no weapons that they can realistically use against settlers and the invading army.

Here's what happens in the West bank, settlements exist in the West bank, settlers murder people in the West bank, and the police are protecting settlers while they're doing it.

Gaza once was under the control of the PLO and Fatah, and there could've been peace, if not for Isn'trael opting to keep building settlements, encouraging people who're being forced out of their homes to pick the more violent approach of Hamas. Which unlike negotiating with an occupying force, did get them to dismantle their disgusting settlements and leave to avoid losing more soldiers.

  • No one is an "Israeli". They're either a Jewish citizen of Palestine, an outsider in Palestine, or a disgusting settler living in someone else's house (not even human).

  • If Egypt or the UN wants to take care of Gaza after the war, and actually make sure they don't get weapons, and actually de-radicalize them (current schools in Gaza are not great at deradicalization), you name it, I'm sure Israel would be on board with that.

Basically turn them into a mini West bank; people with no means to defend themselves, constantly getting attacked by settlers and the police. Make them believe that this is normal and that they shouldn't defend themselves on your way out.

  • He was attacked by dozens of rioting Hamas supporters and ended up shooting the one guy harvesting olives on his land?

  • Yeah, that makes sense, especially after they started refusing UN staff visas, for talking about their war crimes.

  • The article says that people in Gaza broke into UN warehouses and took the supplies. So the supplies must have been already inside Gaza.
