I'm enough of an audiophile that I have some really nice speakers and a Schiit DAC and amp

But I'm not audiophile enough to care about different encodings.

At some point, I just wanna listen to the darn music

(I switched to Tidal in August. Much better audio quality)

Unless Valve has said otherwise, I doubt SteamOS is going to be released for desktop. SteamOS is basically just Arch + kde plasma but with tweaks targeting the SteamDeck hardware

I already despise tipping. This sounds like a nightmare

I like transactions to be transactional. Tipping adds a completely unnecessary social and "uncertain" component to payment.

The rest of the OS provides the actual software that users interact with, like

Some cats don't like to put their faces in bowls. It pushes on their whiskers, which repeated daily can cause them pain or irritation. That's why they refuse to eat anything but the center of the bowl, where the pressure on their whiskers is the least

I'd agree with you, for substantial weight

What I mean is, the weight of the clothes sit on your shoulders (which is a negligible amount), which i find much more comfortable than the weight on the hips (and the constriction required to keep pants from falling off).

Also, if you have a heavy tool like a cordless drill, you can hook them on overalls (to free up your hands) and the added weight won't pull them down, unlike pants

That's why i want every mosquito to burn a thousand deaths. They absolutely feast on me
