  • We don't have the longterm statistics to say one way or the other

But my gut tells me that there are significantly less carcinogens in vape juice than cigarettes (or anything burning)

Edit: I'm not condoning vaping either. I think it's very stupid to vape, especially if you weren't a smoker prior. I'm just saying vaping hasn't been around long enough to draw definite conclusions

I can see it being used as a quitting tool, though

  • As a 27yo, I'm still trying to figure out how to better organize myself. I was one of those kids that never had to take notes in school

And now that's coming back to bite me, because I'm completely new to note-taking, but am working on large 20yo code bases with tons of tech-debt and spaghetti madness. Along with tons of technical jargon in a completely different field. I just can't keep all that in my head anymore

The point is, i feel like an adult in certain aspects, and a child in others

  • I recently broke the networking stack by uninstalling ca-certificates

I was using a slightly risky command to delete unneeded packages, and for some reason ca-certificates was on the list

At least the fix was simple. Boot the rescue iso and reinstall them

  • Boost by default loads a lower resolution image (even while viewing the image). If you tap on an image to "full screen" it, there should be a button in the top right corner labeled "HD". Tapping it should load the full resolution image

Alternatively, go to "Settings > Advanced > Media Viewer > Load HQ images" to always load full resolution images

  • If you could actually do everything in the settings app that you could do in the control panel after 3 versions of windows I don't think it would be so universally disliked

This was my biggest gripe with the settings app when I still used Windows

I use linux now, and for someone like me who likes to tinker and script, it has been amazing
