  • When I took acid as a teenager in the 90s, I was tripping balls and realized that entertainment or anything that occupies that mind that we enjoy, in essence makes time seemingly go by faster. Therefor, the more you entertain your brain, the quicker you approach your demise. It really groundbreaking for me at the time. I swore I might just stare at a clock for the rest of my days just to make time seemingly like it passes slower to savor my mortality lol

I guess I am trying to wrap my head around who would use AI voice technology for that purpose? Enemies within the country of the foreign leaders that hack into their specific phone lines?

  • Well as a counterpoint, that’s when you bounce. I had HBO MAX for years but their latest price hike was unjustifiable for me. I suppose I should prob shitcan Netflix too. And of course Amazon Prime went the exact direction you’re talking about.

  • I watch a lot of YouTube streaming to my Roku and I’ve been kicking around the idea of getting premium. I spend far more time on it than the other streaming services.

  • Well that changes weekly, but if I had to pick just one to be stranded on a desert island with it would be the original Robocop(1987) - just so much nostalgia personally but a really great satire ahead of it’s time.

    Although next week, I might could say the hilarious meta mindfuck Adaptation. Peak Nic Cage, Spike Jonez and Charlie Kaufman - a really fun and wild ride and I love how self indulgent it is.

  • Ngl, this is kinda my favorite form of trash TV somewhat these days. I watch a lot of YouTube content but don’t really keep up with specific creators so much.

    However, there is a channel I used to follow called Illuminaughti and she got ousted for being a scumbag. I got drown into watching that whole debacle and now I do follow a couple of YouTube drama channels. Good to throw on for some mild entertainment in the background occasionally.
