13 year old heat pump owner here. It sounds like a normal AC running outside. It gets a bit loud in certain moments when it runs some exhaust cycle - not sure of the term for it - but that just happen sporadically here and there and lasts no longer than a few seconds.

They migrated elsewhere to another platform months ago. I can’t even remember which one.

Nature is wild down there it seems. Maybe they DO need rabies to help curb some of these crazy ass species 🤣

Voice/Network Support Engineer in the US here. They frowned about WFH and wanted us hybrid, but also figured out no one really wants/needs to come in - so they decided to not renew the office lease and now I’m full time WFH.

I would venture to guess theres probably about at least 15 shops within a 5 mile radius in my medium sized suburban town. I’ve always found it strange.
