Do you make Gameboy music though? I used to really be into LSDJ. I know nothing about programming actual games though

Dial tone still exists. Pretty much every business phone that’s most likely a VoIP line still generates dial tone to the user’s headset.

I was genially curious with my question. Not trying to throw shade. I do not read much CNN articles these days.

I guess this story being news worthy is debatable, but seems like it shouldn’t be posted in the political community.

Can confirm. Already happened yesterday. The hot temps are creeping in early this year and I’m still dealing with all the fallen trees from the storms last week. Steamy as heck outside.

That’s the plan! I read it originally to quit cigs but ended up picking up the vapes.

I made it a month once. It’s really seated as more of a psychological addiction for me. I am going to try reading Allen Carr’s “The Easy Way” for quitting vaping to see if I can start the brainwashing process of not “needing” this fix.

Vaping nicotine. I know I can stop but it’s just a very difficult challenge for me. Still better than smoking cigs but I really need to let this vice go.

Fair enough. I’m not into most of that behavior either except for maybe the occasional low-effort shit post.

After almost a year of being Reddit free, I have been peeking back in there lately. It just doesn’t hit the same but I do lurk in some subs just because of the volume of content.

I do enjoy Lemmy though. I don’t feel as intimidated to make comments and like to feel we’re building something from the grass roots here.

Expand on this if you don’t mind. In what way does Lemmy disappoint you in how it resembles Reddit?

I have no professional tips at all, but I occasionally play a game with my dogs called “find the thing”.

I take them into the bedroom and let them each smell the bone/treat or whatever, then I close the door.

Then I walk a path while rubbing the treat on the ground to make a smell “trail” then hide them in various spots.

I then open the door and tell them to “go find it!” And observe how they sniff around to see if they can pick up the trail scent. One of them is better at it than the other one, and yeah it’s just a silly game and not any kind of real training exercise but we all seem to enjoy it.

Good luck with your dog - sorry you’re having to go through this. One of mine is getting up there as well and I know her vision isn’t doing too well either - not to mention the arthritis 😞
