I've been waiting for a steam sale to pick up ratchet... Don't even want it anymore. I have PSN. It doesn't require one either. But fuck em. They'll learn one way or the other.

Mint lets you install Nvidia drivers pretty easily nowadays. My surfacebook 2 has a 1050 mobile built in and it couldn't have been easier to get the drivers installed.

Ubuntu I don't recommend, nor Pop_OS simply due to Snaps. Where as flatpak is the standard built into Mint.

Good luck bro. Even if you get it back probably not coming back as strong as it was.

Steam has plenty of competition. GOG, Epic, and others. Apple has no legs to stand on. Steam may be the largest, but they were there first.

Everyone hated Steam when it launched. They've quietly just chugged along, making minor improvements.

I crash all the time. Trying this tomorrow. Talking hard reboot freezes 3 times tonight alone. Really annoying when I'm hosting the game my wife and I are playing on.

They need to fix the keyboard support too. I can't enter text with the on screen at all.
