  • I understand you just mean the term murder has legal definitions that vary. In California it may fall under this second section.

"Sentencing for Involuntary Manslaughter: Involuntary manslaughter, under Penal Code Section 192(b), involves causing a death without intent to kill, often through reckless or negligent actions. It differs from voluntary manslaughter by focusing on the lack of malice and intent. The law penalizes those whose careless conduct results in fatal outcomes.

Involuntary manslaughter is typically classified as a felony, with potential imprisonment ranging from two to four years. The court considers the defendant’s conduct and case circumstances, including the degree of negligence and foreseeability of harm. Restitution to the victim’s family for economic losses is often required, emphasizing the broader impact of the offense. Probation may be considered for first-time offenders or cases with mitigating circumstances."

  • "J-B Weld can withstand high temperatures up to 500 °F (260 °C) continuously and up to 600 °F (316 °C) for short periods. It is designed for bonding various materials and is resistant to shock, vibration, and temperature fluctuations."

I've used it to put a chunk of engine block back on a motorcycle that got ripped off by a drive chain coming off and catching a bolt. Held it from leaks and drove it for a few years after that. I'm not familiar with the glass you use and such, probably best to research first.

Sorry if it couldn't help due to the shards you're talking about. Best of luck mate. It works like mixing two putties together and their chemical reaction does the weld at normal temperatures so you don't need electric/gas machines, just patience to not get it all over you hands, rags w.e

  • Well the conditioning part of the air turned off when the engine turned off. The police reported the air was still going but warm when they arrived. Meaning she murdered her child and will likely get off with some kind of child neglegence charge.

She deserves worse, but honestly I can't see a judge thinking she won't have already received punishment by losing her child.

  • I know nothing about 3d printing. What would happen if you took sandpaper to both sides after cleaning it up and put JB weld on it? If the surface is scratched for the weld to hold I don't see why it wouldn't work?

Maybe someone else can tell us why it's a bad idea.

  • $300 shoes? I think the most expensive shoes I've ever bought were $70. I'm sure a lot of the issue with him getting picked on isn't so much brand name but him feeling like he has no say in what he wears and feeling like he is dressed by his parents in styles he has no say in. Its been 25 years since I entered middle school like this kid, but back then I would have felt the same way if my parents were forcing me to wear something I didn't like/want. It wasn't about price either. Often times the shoes my parents wanted me to wear were the same or higher in price, but styles change over time and vary by region/groups. People have their own personalities and prefer to fit in if they can. If the kid doesn't want to feel like a toddler and have more freedom in what they wear it isn't a bad thing.

  • Ran out of butter last week and found out when I went to make a little bit of fudge. I used the bacon fat I strain and keep in a jar in the fridge. I usually don't care for bacon tasting desserts, but I wasn't mad about that decision at all.

  • Been wondering if those Brio things were any good, I just don't have the money to spend on replacement filters. But hooking a water line up to it and having hot/cold water that has gone through the reverse osmosis process would be nice. They are like $400 though, and $150 after that a year in filters last I saw.

  • Then when texts came around they costed extra, just for funsies. Limited number with possibly massive fees for going over. Yet the texts took up no real room that the phones weren't already using to communicate with towers

  • I noticed a couple months back that I hadn't changed my homepage in years and usually used some stupid launcher that never made things quicker for me.

Ended up realizing the best homepage for myself would just be one of the archive sites, so I set it to archive.ph so anytime I click on an article and it loads like shit I can just copy the link click home and paste. Has been surprisingly helpful. Although I am wondering if we archive would have been better. Time will tell u suppose

  • Maybe I just haven't paid attention but this last section seems to hit different now:

"The Associated Press Health and Science Department receives support from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Department of Science Education and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The AP is solely responsible for all content."

The fuck is that, journalistic integrity? Updating an article when there is a potential mistake and owning it..

  • Not sure what I'd expect to be honest. Then being the party that was "more" for climate change protections just watched the presidency, house, and senate step further from them. When it comes to climate change you need to have the Senate and Congress on your side to get changes done.

It was basically Climate Vs Trans, and human rights vs racism. And Climate and Human rights lost.

So if they need populism on their side.... Their best bet is probably to run on culling the elderly with mass public executions, and degrading children for being little useless pieces of shit with no potential.

    They need to advertise hate.

Or you know... Maybe we'll learn something somehow and not vote in complete assholes. Hard to say.

(Not bringing in the economy because both are going to raise the debt ceiling, and somehow not tax the rich, best we would get with all the branches flopping is returning to what we had now)
