  • Oh really? I thought that wouldn’t work for some reason. Maybe their instructions just confused me. I’m not very tech savvy for a lemming.

  • This is the one that requires the GameCube disc, right? Or is there a way around that?

Ironically I once owned that but it’s long since been lost.

  • I have to focus on the positives when I can or I’m going to lose it. A lot of leftists have been talking about this for years but we aren’t numerous enough to stop it alone. The NYT can reach a lot of people we can’t, and maybe start to raise their level of consciousness.

  • Glad to hear the mainstream outlets are finally saying it.

  • My understanding is that this type of infraction would have normally merited an administrative response, but no criminal charges. Since she wasn't employed by the government anymore at that time, there wasn't really much that was warranted.

I mean, I'd be fine if they wanted to throw the book at her. I support this with any powerful members of society. But I don't think this case was particularly unusual.

  • What shady stuff have they published in the past? I’ve generally found their coverage good and they often cover stories like this that other mainstream sources won’t.

  • Then go hide if that’s what you think. My point is Canada is not much safer than the US.

  • I don’t know enough about greyhawk to form an opinion. But I kind of like that forgotten realms has lots of different areas that all feel different. There’s a home for any style of campaign you might want.

  • This is foolish. People need to stay and fight, or go into hiding. A cushy, public position at a university in Canada won’t protect you if things go that far. Canada has little to no bargaining power against the US.

If they want you, they’ll get you one way or another.

  • Oh it’s extremely stupid but yeah I have a similar opinion here.

  • Great case study of how removing a dictator through autocratic power doesn’t make things better. Don’t call for a military coup, it doesn’t end well.

  • I just don’t think electric vehicles do enough given the scale of the crisis we’re experiencing, and I think placing economic pressure in car drivers is bound to reduce driving somewhat. Since this is one of or perhaps even the most damaging behavior in American society right now, that can only be a good thing. It will also increase demand for car alternatives which are desperately needed.

Is it the perfect policy or the one I would have pushed for? No, and it’s bound to be economically destructive as well, but it’s still pushing things in the right direction overall.

  • Let’s go Sacramento! 🌉🌳🍴

Love to see my neighbors giving the fascists the boot.

  • Yes, cars undeniably make the world a much worse place and I am in favor of sin taxes. It’s also a fairly easy tariff to avoid by keeping or repairing an older vehicle—or even better, don’t drive one at all for those who can avoid it.

  • Why would they ever approve the adoption of a 13-year-old to another continent? This seems extremely sus even without any evidence of wrongdoing.

  • Stick with this one you coward. This is his only policy I approve of so far.

  • Wait how did this lead to 20 papers containing the term? Did all 20 have these two words line up this way? Or something else?
