I mean something good can start trends that are annoying. I love the first Avengers movie, but at some point the oversupply of Marvel shit with all the clones made it annoying at some point.
It's just not the same. Activision could say whoever the fuck has been paying for the COD DLC timed exclusively contributes to that DLC and it probably wouldn't be wrong, wouldn't make it any less bullshit.
EXACTLY! When Fortnite released? Fine, it can be on its own launcher. It's annoying, but Epic made it, they can release it how they want. But to buy games that are already on Steam/coming to steam and just to take them off Steam? Bullshit.
Upvoted for providing one of the few real hot takes in this thread. I'm a huge MGS fan, but I can see why people wouldn't like it. MGS plays with realism a lot, all while also playing with ideas from Hollywood. It makes for a very strange mix.
I like Morrowind, but I think you should consider Oblivion's writing. No it's not perfect, the main story is absolutely ass but everything else? Oblivion Theifs Guild and Dark Brotherhood absolutely SHIT on the Morang Tong. The gray fox, Lucienne, Lex, just absolutely insane! Not as immersive as Morrowind, however I'd say that the blend between the open world and the linear story is just paved perfectly in some of the Oblivion's quests
Yeah, I'm mostly fine with Sony's exclusives. I don't love exclusives, but Sony funds a lot of games from the start. Their exclusives would often not exist without their funding. You know what I have a huge fucking problem with though? Microsoft buying companies and games already in progress to make exclusive. Microsoft has not contributed to Starfield, they haven't contributed to any Activision games, all they're doing is taking shit that would have existed with or without Microsoft and holding them hostage. They even did this with the OG Halo, it was originally supposed to be a Mac OS game.
All the companies do this, but Microsoft is by far the worst in recent memory. At least Sony and Nintendo actually make good games to hide it. They don't built their entire game libraries on buying other people's shit.
I used to absolutely love Little Piece of Heaven in middle school, that song makes me cringe so fucking bad now. I wouldn't say everything they made was embarrassing (Shepard of Fire will always kick ass) but goddamn they have a few songs that just make you cringe.
God you guys have way less cringey pics than mine. Mine for sure has to be Blood On The Dancefloor. Loved them in early middle school, but the other day I looked up a song and it's completely unlistenable. Also, this well known internet clip came from a member of the group grooming a 12 year old and sending their rabid fan base after said 12 year old after she talks about it. Also released a FUCKING DISS TRACK AGAINST HER in response to the grooming allegations.
RIGHT? It's so much more intuitive. Last time I played, I played on an OG steam controller and that was better than a regular controller, but Wiimote for RE4 is unbelievably great. I've gotten so much flack for this, but with the game's semi-tank controls, the Wiimote is perfect for it!
The impacts on Reddit are going to be more long term than anything. The technically literate base that attracted people to Reddit is gone. Right now, attaching Reddit to the end of a search is a good idea to get the answers you want. All the open source people are gone now, Google results are already hurting. The most attractive part of Reddit is already starting to disappear. It'll be a slow decline as users can't find the content they want.
Not my story, but too comedic not to tell. Used to wash dishes with a guy, really cool dude, his stepfather was the head chef for multiple successful restaurants in the area including the one we worked at. Everybody else in the family is able to get whatever the hell they want for free. Shit, even managers got like $500 in gift cards to give to their family for free. But my dishwashing friend got a $20 gift card to the restaurant we worked at from his stepdad.
I heard the name as a kid and I always knew it was my name internally. As a kid, I always daydreamt of a pretty girl in an overcast field with the wind blowing against her hair. I decided her name was Leyla. It wasn't until I came out that I understood that the girl was me, and had always been me.
