  • Many tech jobs can be done from home in this day and age, the office space is meaningless when you can instantly conference without an issue via video and audio, and there are a million and one ways to connect with employees and employers that don't require that massive space anymore. Would be better to replace some of that office space with living space, that's a more sensible use of the area. We'll need more living space most likely in the future.

  • LOTR did it too with it's battle scenes, it's been pretty SOP for awhile now in hollywood. But the difference is in the past those actors who were recreated knew it, it wasn't like they were unaware of the fact or anyone else on the production line

What hollywood is trying to do now with this technology is just plain theft to get away from paying anyone

  • That was a very sensible post and I agree with your points, it would make a vast difference. I felt like in many ways this was tried in the 90's but I could be misremembering, however it did seem like an era of Police Reform that sadly backtracked after 9/11 and Bush

  • Without Russias involvement in WW2 the Nazis would've had a much easier time and would've lasted far longer, no idea what you're trying to say here.

I mean you realize the US built the ISS together with Russia right?

"The Salyut programme (Russian: Салют, IPA: [sɐˈlʲut], meaning "salute" or "fireworks") was the first space station programme, undertaken by the Soviet Union. It involved a series of four crewed scientific research space stations and two crewed military reconnaissance space stations over a period of 15 years, from 1971 to 1986. Two other Salyut launches failed. In one respect, Salyut had the task of carrying out long-term research into the problems of living in space and a variety of astronomical, biological and Earth-resources experiments, and on the other hand the USSR used this civilian programme as a cover for the highly secretive military Almaz stations, which flew under the Salyut designation. Salyut 1, the first station in the programme, became the world's first crewed space station."

The OP was right, this is Putin, not Russia, he's the one who has screwed over the people the same way Hitler screwed over his own
