This is why I always advocate for arming and armoring the homeless.

I get angry enough that a cop pulling me over for speeding carries a gun, or that every emergency call needs to be responded to by jackbooted, militarized thugs when less than 15% ever involve violence. I can't imagine living in a country where every scared little baby had easy access to firearms.

You know, if it's literally 8 guys, what are the chances that they're not all sat in a room and one goes "hey, there's a lot of evidence that switching to a four day workweek would be better in every way and would not affect our productivity or profits in any way. Do you think we should all adopt it in all our companies and change the world and people's lives for the better?" and they all take a moment and look at each other and as they all burst out laughing one says "fuck those losers, let them suffer" and they all high five and go back to drinking champagne out of panda skulls or whatever it is they do.

These are Alex Jones' exact talking points. He is literally just regurgitating rhetoric.

Many people, including this reporter, were under the mistaken impression that that was her name. Her actual name is Heather Harmon.

Cuba repossessed land that foreigners in the US (Florida) were making money off of so they could support their own people. The dispossessed Americans turned this into a voting issue and have had the US leadership by the balls over it since. Other countries in the region who want to suck up to the US uphold the embargo on their end as well. This keeps Cuba in a constant state of extreme poverty. It's violence.

I've seen a lot more hate coming from non vegans, both unprompted (like this post) and in reaction to casual posts about a recipe or something on social media.

I don't think they're misguided, I just think that even if we solved the capitalist exploitation driving the meat industry they would still care about animal suffering on a micro scale. I also feel like you're making a lot of assumptions about them based on that singular focus. Your view of the issue as a whole is just as myopic as his.

I wouldn't really apply the word cool to a meticulously thought out, complicated outfit. Cool invokes effortlessness, this is anything but. This is impressive and grandiloquent.
