I've just started blocking assholes. It's a good thing I did, as there seems to be two that comment on things I say often that I never see.

I understood you, I'm just not that concerned, in this case, if these folks are offended. People who act like this or punch walls or get in road rage incidents are a danger to those around them and should be called out for their shitty behavior.

Perhaps people should feel inferior for behaving this way. It appears this behavior has been normalized and is found acceptable amongst certain groups. It isn't and shouldn't be.

Many police can and do carry their own firearms. I could see a rural or just general chud cop carrying a 1911, which is 7+1.

I suppose I just don't associate with people who have such low emotional control and stability. I don't play with those who scream or are toxic in chat, and I certainly wouldn't have associated with anyone like this back in the split-screen days. That behavior is quite absurd and indicates a larger overall problem.

Yes, it is. However, the facists believe that the epa, along with several other agencies, are illegal/unconstitutional. Their ultimate goal is to have these agencies disbanded all together. Until then, they are trying to make them as ineffective as possible. It is surprising that the fascist court broke with that ideology.

The child murder is unfortunately unsurprising. Israelis have gleefully murdered children long before Oct 7, and the escalation had just provided more opportunities for them to do so.

This is what they do. They specifically target civilians, civil institutions, journalists, aid workers, aid orgs, and essentially any target that causes suffering amongst the civilian population. Israel is terrorist state, and it's time they were treated as such.

I know how big Seinfeld was, I was around, lol. Him getting that show and being a household name isn't exactly a reflection of talent. There are other factors and circumstances that also contribute to that. I also don't disagree that the man has an understanding of comedy/joke telling. Would a court find Walmart liable for your decision to take medical advice from a random employee? I'm sure Walmart could demonstrate that the employee was not acting in the capacity of their role and any reasonable person would not consider drinking bleach because an unqualified walmart employee told them so.

I could definitely see this having an impact, how great that impact is would depend on technological advancements and social factors. Populations are already on a decline in many countries for myriad reasons. The only arguments I've seen about this being a bad thing are primarily focused on the ruling classes concerns, i.e. "the economy." There maybe some mild concerns for the average person, but if we survive what we've done to the planet, overall I think it will be beneficial in the long term for the world population to decrease. Marriages are also in decline, but if all that a marriage is based on is sex, that probably isn't a marriage worth being in. IMO, our species going quietly into the night isn't the worst future, lol.

I wasn't trying to imply there wasn't issues women face around sex, just that issues with sex toys and preferences (the sex toys have "unrealistic standards" for women) mentioned in the article are specific to men.

If somebody wants to have an "AI" sexbot, whether physical or digital, this isn't anybody else's concern. Ideally, these should not be connected to the internet, but updated through USB or done other offline method to protect users. But at the end, if this is what an individual would prefer over an actual relationship, then so be it, you probably don't want to be in a relationship with this person anyway. The outcry seems to come from this idea that men (let's face it, there's no stigma around women and their sexual preferences or toys) who are undesirable to others should just be lonely and mocked for even using the most basic of sex toys/services. Let these folks have their sex toys and leave them alone, it doesn't bother you.
