It is extremely well established that this kind of shaming has the opposite effect, it makes the problem worse. It causes overweight people to eat more and it creates mental health problems for those that can not help it across society.
I've always believed it would be useful to have a thing like this but for brand logos.
But instead of blurring or blocking the brand logo like an adblocker what it does instead is show you the face of the top shareholder in that brand. Remove the brands and show the assholes that own them. Where it's not a single person you replace that brand with the name of the hedgefund or bank that owns the investment.

Which is why they're denying that it was Russian munitions and trying to claim that it was Ukrainian anti-air missiles falling back on buildings after trying to shoot down other things. To use it as a symbol you kinda have to say it was you.
What this will become however is a symbol of reconstruction for Ukraine, which is not at all beneficial to Russia's strategic interests. Hence why I lean to it being a mistake of some sort. Given the accuracy their missiles have though that's hard to justify as well, unless it's not actually the main payload of a missile and is instead one of the earlier stages that gets split, like the fuel tubes sections. This is why actually seeing the missile debris is useful, you can figure out whether it was the target or not based on whether it's the payload section or some other part of the missile.

The compulsion that you feel to distance yourself from past proletarian movements so that your attackers won't associate you with the supposed atrocities of those movements only functions to move you further and further right. This instinct leads you to not only distance yourself from their own goals, and to condemn your own movement, but to uphold reactionary lies about our movements, sometimes even outdoing those lies by exaggerating them, in order to further emphasize the attempt to distance. It doesn't matter how much we try to twist and turn and distance ourselves from atrocity propaganda, rubbish will be heaped upon the graves of working class leaders.
Functionally all this compulsion does is move you rightwards. You are attempting to make yourself more appealing to the right because you think that doing so will magically make people on the right suddenly like socialist politics. In the meantime they will attack you with every single piece of propaganda regardless, and you will moderate yourself even more. This deradicalises the movement and blunts the radical edge it requires to get things done.
