  • Welcome to XXX X. Nsfw Twitter.

  • grrr

  • Probably part of the right wing that's been working on coopting it for decades now. You should see the incredibly rich crypto psychos that call themselves anarchists.

The way I see the far-right attempt to coopt anarchism is the same as the name of "socialism" being coopted in germany in the 30s. They recognised its growing popularity and seek to ride confusion about that while disassociating themselves with the instant rejection being openly fascist gets them.

  • So you're ignoring 85% of the capitalist world then. Cool.

I can make socialism look fucking awesome if I ignore the 85% of it that performs the worst too.

And that's completely ignoring the fact that every single bit of standard of living you get in the western empire comes off the backs of exploitation of the global south.

Naming germany is fun, eastern germany used to be socialist and wants to go back to socialism, while Berlin's population voted to expropriate all property from all major landlords via a referendum, seizing 1.5million homes owned by the parasites. And what's happening over in Salzburg city proper where 20% voting for the communist party might spook you, 1 in 5 reds under the bed! Ooger booger!

  • I'm not the one fucking saying it. If you ever bothered to read you'd know that it's the research scientists and professors at the the university of Exeter in one of those links, or the research scientists and professors at the Columbia University in another, or the research scientists at the Anglia Ruskin University in another.

You are literally just a denier. Did you deny covid was serious too? Post some anti mask and anti lockdown shit?

  • Literally every single piece of climate research is predict global food chain collapse. The most recent calls are saying that we will hit tipping points that guarantee this in the next five years.

You are completely out of touch with what is actually being said by the people screaming that we are on the way off the cliff. They are warning that shit is happening much faster than originally predicted, and they were already originally predicting that the food supply collapse would happen by 2040 years ago. This is happening sooner than you realise. Oh and guess what?

Food collapse isn't something that happens slowly either mate. Everything in our system is interlinked, when part of the chain breaks we will get complete global chaos. Worse though, when things get real bad there will be no more ability for anyone to cooperate internationally. Once chaos begins it will be impossible to both bring down carbon and maintain order with nations of people rioting and dying from famine.

There is an extreme sense of urgency that some of you are just absolutely not getting at all about this.

  • "I would prefer to starve than have socialism"

  • It was like that to illustrate to you the scale of the problem and the scale of immorality hidden within the "just do whatever you want and be happy".

Get organised. Join radical orgs. Get unionised. How many of you have even bothered to join a union yet? Like the bare fucking minimum. Of the people in this thread I bet it's a handful. Join an org, go to a 1 hour fucking meeting once a fortnight. It's not hard, everyone is just lazy as fuck and sitting around waiting for someone else to do it for them.

Absolutely NOBODY will do it for you. The working class must rescue itself. People need to get this through their fucking heads, the system has failed and is not going to reverse course. A new system is needed and only radical efforts are calling for that.

  • "Speak to eastern europeans!"

    "Wait not those ones!"

  • You are selling apathy and do-nothing. An utterly abhorrent and amoral position. It's no wonder the entire of gen z want to kill themselves when people like you are telling them not to worry and just sit around waiting for the end to come.

I am selling the opposite. Join radical political organisations that seek radical change. Take part in building the radical power and actually doing something about it.

  • Try and build a life around yourself that’ll help you be happy through it all

Lmao good luck with that when global food chains collapse.

Welcome to the battle sphere. 7billion people enter, 1 billion people leave.

  • Threads will kill nothing for as long as it remains unavailable in Europe due to breaking GDPR.

Bluesky is more likely, particularly given its Twitter's former ceo building it.

Fair warning Mercouris is a tory fuckhead. However I suspect that will appeal to a neoliberal like yourself. He's also a london barrister working in constitutional law and human rights.

  • the west is leading the charge in embracing the queer community

Cuba has the world's most progressive and inclusive legislation affecting lgbt people as of reforming their Family legislation actually.

  • I don't think size is an issue. You need to think of the war as Ukraine supplying the bodies and the entirety of nato supplying the combined weapons, funding, manufacturing, strategy, intelligence and planning. Ukraine has the bodies necessary to make numerical advantages moot.

I suspect that negotiations won't come until after this christmas, going into the string of upcoming elections.

The sooner the decision-makers realise that and negotiate for peace, the better.

To decision makers it's not though, this is the problem. They're all perfectly happy to sacrifice all these lives, the US warmongers are happy to sacrifice any foreign lives against their adversaries while the Ukrainian bourgeoisie have used the war as cover for some of the most brutal right wing crackdowns I've ever seen, complete banning of all left parties, shutdown of media, and the complete and total rollback of 100% of workers rights. They have created a state that allows for absolute maximum exploitation of the people with no left opposition. The ruling class see this as a great win for them, the true-believers of the ideological fascists probably genuinely care about the borders of the nation but the bourgeoisie couldn't give a fuck. So this leaves it up to the US really when to end the war by allowing negotiations, since its only the west propping up Ukraine that allows it to continue it will always lie in their hands to decide. I suspect that will come with a combination of elections (both US, Ukraine and several in Europe) and them wanting to switch their attention to China.

Can’t say that would enjoy walking into that kind of maelstrom.

It's an easy way to make progress slow. Just cover the land in deadly munitions. Nevermind the fact that for the next 50 years 98% of the deaths they cause will be civilians :/

  • I think part of it is that, similar to console wars there's like a consumer choice loyalty thing. But on top of that there's also a resistance generated by the moral part. And that's all in addition to the usual resistances to change.

  • I think you've really got a warped perspective on this. China has more protests than every other nation. And they don't just disappear people for criticism. That is reserved for those actively fomenting revolution just as you say it does in the west. This site is obviously intended to be anti-China propaganda but I have a quite different take on it, what you're seeing in this data is actually the real quantity of protests that China perfectly allows. In the last 12 months 1196 protests have occurred and I assure you the hundreds of thousands of protesters involved in those events aren't "disappeared". It would be utterly absurd. In just a few years you'd have nobody fucking left in the country. So this data is, in my opinion, useful to demonstrate the quantity of allowed demonstration rather than the quantity that is prevented. It's shit like the hong kong attempt at literally overthrowing the government with shady western support that get real murky.

  • Maybe. It's a bizarre response that hardly has anything to do with what I was saying, I just assumed it was someone that really wanted to say all these things that we've heard from neoliberals and the media like a billion times already. Like, ok?
