I'm just confused why there is a coop mod for a inherently coop game. What does it do for nightreign?

Are you talking about Nightreign or Elden Ring?

Does mediainfo give any useful insight?

Is that still done with that Mangos software?

Set up a "global" ignore file that gets synced between devices. Call it .stignoreglobal for example and and change the .stignore file (which doesnt get synced) on every device to only include #include .stignoreglobal. Now your ignore state gets synced between devices and you can make changes from anywhere.

• Make sure SyncThing is excluded from your phone's battery optimizations (varies by vendor).
• To save on mobile bandwidth I have it set up to only sync on WiFi.
• You can set up a symmetric key (basically a password) and sync your stuff to a friends instance. Your friend will not be able to read the data without the key (make sure it's a long random string). This also helps if you're running a SyncThing instance on a VPS for example.

When SyncThing is correctly configured (battery optimizations , etc.), you won't have any issues. (I've been using SyncThing for many many years now.)

Honestly, the game had so many bugs in its lifetime so far I fear running their buggy code on the kernel level will irreversibly kill my operating system.

How to update the Firmware update? I assume on Windows via Wire and with proprietary software?

What I mean is, you create a link from "libxyz.wanted.so" to "libxyz.present.so", so when the game is looking for the libxyz.wanted.so file, it actually reads the libxyz.present.so file.
You do this with the symbolic links and ln -s, but check the order of the parameters, as I always get those with long the first time around.

Usually you can symlink to other versions and it will work fine.
