I feel the same way about some of the subs that I'd like to see on here as well. I just worry about how to gain traction. Like how to get more people to engage and actually use the community. Is it just random people stumbling across it? Or is there a better way?
I mean the event organizer was there to have the doors open (of course the person was flanked by two bouncers). So it isn't like the worker even if they wanted to could stop it. I'm sure those bouncers could've been turned on her like they were the parents asking for refunds. (Source)
It isn't illegal but I'm not to sure that they will be selling voting shares to the average redditors. They tightly control who can actually make decisions.
Yeah I see that now. Thanks for pointing it out. It did take a minute to go through and find the actual sources as The Verge likes to source themselves. So I'll put the two (at least I think) sources. This source shows where most of the mining is taking place.
Currently at least in the US we charge them less. This is usually due to something called Economy of Scale. As well as the fact there is more competition for Business energy. As well as the fact they are usually locked into a contract for energy. 1
