i went for .today few weeks ago, might look at other instances.

they are shutting down due to lack of admins , and they were running on skeleton crew, couldnt handle the massive amount of content/moderation on lemmy instance.

so thats what they are called we are asian and we always have this in some of our dishes. apparently the chinese one is not even closely related to the "Olive" different order of plants.

the good ones are pretty expensive, and most people dont buy them, they have imported bougies ones sold by WF.

american chocolate is just milk sugar mostly, i would like at the total cacao concentration, anything less than 70% is nasty asf, most american ones are under 40%. i heard the hersey ones they use some kind of chemical in it to make it taste the way it is. White chocolate american is the most chemically tasting and smelling of them all.

alot of cookies and cakes are like that, you can feel the granular sugar, because they put so much.

milk chocolate by any of the big chains, are just trash. at WF, they sell gourmet chocolate imported from outside the US, or they make the ones that are bougie and expensive. dark chocolate, not so sweet is the best. white chocolate seems to have a chemical smell and aftertaste to it, super synthetic, that has no chocolate i never liked the taste.

i cant stand the smell of durian candy, its way to pungent.

seems unusual, at 13 i already hated sleeping with a family member in different beds, because he was constantly hovering over as a "helicopter parent" who he thought took it upon himself.

invincible kind of fell off around 2 and 3, due to bad animations, and the length of time in between the series. i think people got bored, and just watched the comics narration on youtube instead.

if your into scifi, sg1, sga, SGU you might want to hold off on that, because you might get disappointed in more than 1 ways. STAR trek tng,to ds9 to voyager, and maybe enterprise. just none of the nutrek. maybe ISAIP, but the consensus seems to be only from the crowd that watched it when it aired in the 2000s to 11th season, the newest seasons13+ is just super wierd and not like the old seasons, genz and younger apparently have no idea who the actors are so just be warned.

timothy olyphant plays as a deputy in a series. i only heard about the series because he was originally on DAMAGES show.

reimangined series was ok, but the shworunner was too christainy and made all about god, or a apocalyptic end, no lasers, or other 3rd parties like in the og series.

TNG, DS9, VOYAGER, none of the nutrek crap though. although im partial to animated series thats now cancelled.

as in cant even get the foot in the door, i was very disappointed with that, so i gave it up ive been on other platforms where people also gave up because it was just to hard to get into many stem/research jobs, especially if you cant go to grad school right away, without going post-bacc or resetting your career track. and found it was designed, and gatekeeped by the industry as a whole. Also job sites made it harder.

thats why they do these aggressive recruitment propaganda every few years, having a movie like top gun maverick helped alot last year and propaganda like business insider video of military jobs. and yes most of them are aimed at POCs. when obama came into power, recruitment/military was actually downsizing in a peacetime military, but trump reversed it the moment he was in his first time. i was in forums where it was when obama was in charge, it was getting harder and harder to get into the military(people were getting denied left and right for medical and financial and crime reasons that mightve seen consideration during the bush era), then i magically reversed the moment he left office.
