  • How are you getting on? I'm really considering getting this - I get paid today and have a week next week without the family... Been playing and enjoying Planet Crafters and Forever Skies, and I'm in the survival-building-exploring mood at the moment.

  • Sounds like GDPR / HFEA / other medical or significant legal body. They often also give nice fat juicy bonuses to people who report problems that get looked into, and if a company self-reports will often overlook issues provided there's a serious attention to cleaning shit up.

  • I'm cautiously optimistic, but not preordering because, well... because.

A bit perplexed where the hollow where the lake of the watcher has gone in that image, unless it's another door into the mountain - though as it's got the iconic, "Mellon" door, I somehow doubt it. Still, it's clearly years onwards, so maybe it's all been filled in and worked on.

Fingers crossed, I really want a new LotR game that's good, and this looks like it could be one. Maybe a touch of Ancient Domains of Mystery in with it?

  • Coding, system monitoring (Work / Home network), Slack / Meet / whatever... generally I'll have 3 or 4x screens-worth doing work stuff, 1 or 2 for monitoring stuff, one or two for various chat sessions. It's easier than alt-tabbing all the time.

  • I have two 4k monitors, and two laptops and a desktop controlled from one mouse and keyboard with seamless traversal across all of them thanks to mouse without borders. Desktop goes to one 4k monitor, split into 4 quarters to give the equivalent of 4 1080p screens, and each laptop is displayed side-by-side on the other monitor (plus their own 1080p screens to give 3x 1080p screens equivalent each... The picture in picture mode on these lg's is actually usable). It's an upgrade from the previous 4x 1080p screens to the equivalent of 10x 1080p screens, and I still need more screen space!

  • I don't really care about trustable, the only shampoo that reliably deals with my dandruff / itchy scalp is Head & Shoulders. It's a pain in the ass if I don't use it. I'd rather not, honestly - heard lots of, "You don't need it, let it handle itself, just rinse it, whatever..." - yeah, I love looking like it's snowing and scratching all the time.

  • service: and continer: do the same thing when run inside the same docker-compose.yml. When gluetun is run separately, you'll need to reference service: in order to reference it because it's outside the same compose file. The difference is slight, but noticeable if you're running multiple compose files. HTH :)

  • And this is happening on the BETA channel. If you're running beta, and you expect no issues, you're an idiot. If you're running beta, and you're unable to investigate those issues and resolve them (Which, as you've such a clear, lucid understanding of what's going on you clearly are able to), then you're an idiot. If you've enabled developer options without understanding tech, and how to fix things yourself, you're an idiot.

There's no protecting against idiots, they're on their own.

The vast majority of people will not see this issue because you have to go out of your way to see this bug.

  • It's quite spectactular. I think the politcs on both sides are awful, and I really feel for the civillians who are just trying to live their lives under this bullshit. Both sides need to step up and take responsibility for their major, horrific fuckups and problems; and the west in general needs to take responsibility for kicking people out of their homes to make homes for others... but also both sides just need to stop fucking hurting each other for a minute in order to progress.

  • Amazed no one has mentioned Antimatter Dimensions. It's now on Steam, but was originally on a few sites (I played it on Kongregate). Fantastic, and now with the latest update and the 'aero' skin and hidden games, it's multiple games (Including the original Paperclips) inside one :D
