Or make it a folding screen and call it the Switch SP. (actually, a folding switch would be cool, and you could rotate the screen and play DS and 3DS games on the switch… that would be awesome!
If that’s the case, then it really defeats the purpose of the whole 3rd party store idea for me. Most apps I would consider installing are open source projects.
Can someone help me understand: marketplace makers will need to prove they have access to $ 1 million. Then Apple will charge 50 cents per marketplace install? So that means no possibility of a 100% free store for open source apps. Is that correct?
I was listening to a podcast about the scientists responsible of monitoring potentially world threatening asteroid collisions with the earth. They are constantly reminded that the whole world could blink out of existence in an instant. But they continue their job because that’s the part they have control over. I worry of the things I can change. Wether they being small or big and wether my impact is small or big. If I have no control over, I acknowledge it and move on.
Another alternative is SideStore which allows to refresh apps from your phone without a computer. Just a WiFi connection. It has the benefit of working with any ios versions including the latest ones that TrollStore doesn’t support.
AltStore requires you to have a the AltServer opened on your Mac and your phone on the same WiFi to refresh. SideStore is branched off AltStore but allows to renew and install apps right from your iPhone (you only need a computer for the first install of SideStore iOS app, or if you to re-activate if you go past the renew date). I had AltStore before and SideStore is much easier to deal with imo.
In the meantime you can use SideStore to side load two apps on your iOS device. Down side you need to open the SideLoad once a week and renew access to your side loaded apps.
The square face of the Apple Watch really irks me.
