  • That’s what the back doors are for.

  • All their samples are parallax effects on a still image which doesn’t really qualify as video to me.

  • 80% of the time it works every time. Depending on the cost of your medication it’s not an odd I like playing with.

  • Yeah nah that never works.

  • What are you using to cut it? The trick I found with the pull cutters is to set it then slap it with your hand to make the cut in one go. Also, once the blade is a bit dull, it’s over and you’ll need a new one.

  • Haha not really. He actually switched to Mario party. He’s also really into Paper Mario TTYD.

  • why e-waste? I’m re-using things. Nothing is wasted. We are re-using controllers to play new games. The waste would be to buy each console. Instead I’m using my work computer to play. I gave my son my old computer and he’s using it now. Nothing is wasted.

  • Delay. I have a 4K TV right above but somehow there is significant delay on it.

  • There’s a 4K tv right above. We actually connected the computer to it not long after the photo.

  • Yep. And actually the DualShock 4 controller can send motion data so you could use it as a very wonky looking Wii controller. I tried it briefly on MarioKart Wii.

  • All 100% true, this is with HD textures so the game looks like a next gen game.

  • I’m a bit in both worlds. I think that the split is at HD games. Up to SNES a CRT really makes things look as they were designed, but once you reach 3D games the low rez really feels like a limitation game designers had to deal with.

  • Agreed. That plus the fact that SD on an HD screen looks even worse. HD texture and up scaling really breathes a new life into the games.

  • This is GameCube on Dolphin which re renders the whole game is 4K. No pixels visible.

  • This is running Dolphin which can render 3D graphics at higher resolution. Then you can apply high res gesture packs. It ends up turning the game into a next gen game. That only really works with 3D games. snes and other 8-16 bit consoles still benefit from a CRT.
