  • That involves money and clients don't want to do that lol. It's like pulling teeth to get them to replace shit

  • People can die of exposure in like 50 degree weather. I feel like the inside of a sinkhole in winter isn't a balmy room temp. I hope I'm wrong, though.

  • Definitely not a good place to be rn. I live in Pa and it kind of really sucks.

  • Lived in a town with an insanely high cancer rate and it was assumed to be because fumes from the mines under the whole town seeped up through the ground. There were also piles of slag just scattered around and nobody cared to clean it up.. I was constantly deathly sick while living there. So glad I left

  • It's been below 32 degrees the whole time she's been missing. I live relatively close to that area. There's no way she's stayed warm enough if she's truly in that sinkhole.

  • I live in swpa and it's the norm to assume every house has mine shafts under it. Some are obviously worse than others, but the mines are so extensive that you could dig anywhere and probably find one

  • I miss r/summonsign and whatever the one for elden ring was. From Soft co-op is the best part of their games.

  • I work at an MSP and a lot of our clients have to follow specific security compliance standards. Because Windows 10 is eol soon, we've been slowly upgrading folks to 11. I die a little each time I do an upgrade. People, including my coworkers and I, are not happy with it overall, but nobody can do anything because ✨compliance standards✨

  • How'd you get that pic of my sleep paralysis demon

  • This guy is great. He demands kisses almost every time I see him. I love watching the kids torment him because he looks so tired, but is so tolerant and gentle.

  • I don't donate to charity, but I do donate to the Special Olympics in my area. My little sister is an athlete in it and she is thriving now that she's part of something. It's a really good thing for everyone involved and I want it to continue. I've never seen proof in my area that charities are actually putting donations to use in a tangible way. I've looked into it, too, out of curiosity.

  • How was I judging? I was defending those of us who are concerned about the whole raw milk having bird flu thing. I was simply saying that those of us with concerns are valid in our feelings.

If you read all of bluewing's comments, the tone comes off, imo, as talking down to those of us who are concerned. Bluewing grew up on a dairy drinking raw milk every day and didn't get sick and seems to be exuding a sense of superiority because of it.. I also grew up on raw milk and didn't get sick from it. Doesn't make me less concerned over bird flu lol

  • After surviving one pandemic, it's totally fair that some of us are a bit wary of raw milk now because multiple places have found bird flu in it. Judging us in the way you are isn't okay.

  • Last time I rolled my ankle I got a Maisonneuve fracture. The surgeon who fixed me up was super pumped about it because these types of fractures apparently don't happen super often.

  • He was almost blind, had severe brain damage, stomach issues, and a heart murmur that turned into congestive heart failure. He was born with these issues and his mom abandoned him. A former neighbor begged me to take him in because the shelters in our area wanted to kill him because he weighed less than 1 pound. I carried him around with me for a week to make sure he got fed enough and was doing well enough to be left alone.

Despite his issues, he was so lovable and good. He did like to pull pranks every so often.

He liked to steal slices of pizza, eat the cheese off of it, then leave the soggy slice where he knew I'd step on it.

He'd also smack me on the butt and run away.

He liked to wear bowties and would show everyone how dapper he looked.

His best friend was a wild cat bird. He and the bird would meow at each other through the window.

His fur changed colors and length drastically three times and we have no idea why.

He thought he was great at hiding, but he couldn't see, so he'd be in plain sight and we'd all be like, "where's jynxy? He is such a good hider!" And then he'd jump at use and meow like, "here I am!"

He knew his heart medicine was important and would remind me when it was medicine time.

Lil dude was my whole world. He died 2 years ago but I still cry like once a month over him.
