I use ad breaks in vids to answer texts/emails or take a piss or whatever. Intrusive ads that take up entire pages on a site are the worst tho. Those can fuck off.

I can deal with ad when watching TV or YouTube. But ads in the car, even while stopped, is just begging for someone to get killed. Will never even consider getting a jeep. I'm probably gonna have to get a new car in a couple of years and I want something new, but dumb. I want as little smart shit as possible, which is probably not going to be a thing.

If I get too overwhelmed at work, I take my lunch in the dark conference room and read to relax. The low light and quiet is great to reset my brain on days I'm going crazy

The fun part about this is that every time I've had to call a vendor about proprietary software, the techs helping me ARE the devs. 💀

I don't code, but I do work with a lot of really shitty proprietary software. The amount of time vendors haven't been able to fix their own shit is so high. Spent 6 hours on the phone once. Work 2.5 hours overtime for that call.

Humanity also just can't coexist peacefully with anything. We ruin everything we touch. Our hubris will be our downfall and I take comfort in the fact that the Earth will heal after we extinct ourselves.

Idk how we'd get rid of money, but it needs to be done. We're literally the only species on the planet with this concept and we're suffering for it.

Oh yes! When I was getting ready to take him out of his stall to tack him up, I bent over to grab something and he laid his head on my back like a pillow. He also kept nuzzling me and it made the whole process of getting him tacked up slower because he just wanted so much affection.

Hellhole is a great description. Especially the area I live in. I've found a couple of havens where I can socialize with like-minded people, so at least I have some kind of sanctuary from the madness that surrounds me. I have to drive 45 minutes to get to those places but that's whatever at this point for me.

Yeah. Doesn't make me feel any less rotten about the whole thing though.

I use computers at work. Outside of work I use my phone, my Steamdeck, and my PS5 for my needs/entertainment. After fixing and working on computers all day, I don't wanna even see another computer after I leave the office. So I just don't own one. I borrow my grandma's laptop if I absolutely need to use a computer outside of work lol.

I voted for the fucker and I am so pissed about it. He seemed cool but then became the biggest disappointment. Fetterman can get fucked.

Things are much better. I got the help I need and I'm thriving for the most part. I'm far more successful than my bullies. Last I saw, they're either dead, addicts/drunks, or working dead-end retail jobs and hate their lives.

I was bullied relentlessly throughout school. Kids told me to kill myself daily. And I tried to multiple times.

My mother contacted the school and the police when my bullies broke into our house when they thought I was home alone and the authorities just said, "Boys will be boys." We moved shortly after.
