[US] Has anyone else gotten emails out of the blue from random members of Congress that sound like replies to something you sent in?

  • Consider that the majority of personal emails are compromised in some way.
    I have an email that had been used over the years to rent cars, stay at Airbnbs, make an Instagram account, subscribe to various websites etc all over the US and I'm halfway across the world.
    So it's quite likely that your email is also being used randomly.

    I think there are sites where you can check if your email has been compromised, but I'm not sure which ones are scams.

    What if you're the Westerner to the people east of you? Are you evil then?

    Besides, the only East vs West competition is for global powers. Any hatred between the two blurry lines is stoked by those with a political or economic interest.
    Regular people who aren't influenced by such propaganda don't really care about this whole East vs West thing. You shouldn't either.

    It saddens me that the nearly 200 recognized countries in the world are being separated by an imaginary line that moves at the will of political nobodies.
