I think there may be some confusion on Flying Squid's part about who they're questioning. I believe (and hopefully, I'm reading this correctly) Flying Squid is looking for clarification from Bostonbananarama and you just happened to chime in with a related point? This Crowdstrike B.S. got e'erybody fucked up on no-change Friday.
I wonder if this case may be warranted/allowed/deserved(?) as he's able to be in his position based on the large insurance payout he continues to receive that gave him true financial security. He then denied anyone else that same benefit by helping to pull up that ladder once he was in a position of authority. Since 2003, no insurance company will ever have to pay out such large sums in Texas. And, the $250k they might have to pay will never be adjusted for inflation.
Since '13, he gets $14k/month and $400k every 3 years. Tax free. And, adjusted for inflation.
OHMYGOSH! I am so glad to meet you! I lived in the South for about a decade and I met so many people who were so opposite of me (having grown up in New England) and I miss them now that I've moved away. I will text them. Thanks for the reminder.
