Classes and structures implies the moving around you're talking about is in memory? You'd probably be looking at computer engineering courses there, or more likely OS design. OS classes get deep into kernel stuff. Advanced programming being in C++ lets you see how memory is tracked. I myself hated doing my own memory management, but if that interests you, then you'll get a taste of that and more with anything to do with the kernel layer. I dunno, I think attending someone's party for themselves is pretty fucking cringe. They've already kissed the ring, I can't imagine it's fun for them to grovel. They just do it when they have to satisfy the crown and virtue signal to their base since they didn't vote for them as much as they did for a Trump green light. Nobody is twisting their arm in this case.

Going through this too, but I believe it is actionable, and things such as working with nonprofits and protesting the collapse in all of its forms is the way to relieve the guilt. I think stepping away hurts me more, personally, than devoting my time. It's like making eye contact with a victim when I empathize with these massive movements, and tuning out is like lowering my head to break that eye contact.

Everyone is different and has different levels of mental anguish over all of this, so if you feel it is beyond what you can handle, then do not engage until you're healthy enough to do so.
