Man I want to love PoE but it seems like you can't enjoy the game after a certain point (not even close to endgame) without following a build guide which I really dislike doing.

I played through Max Payne 1 and 2 because they were on sale. Absolutely loved them even if they're 20 years old. I was about to go on a Remedy kick because I heard Control was a ton of fun as well but then I realized Alan Wake was on the list and I just cannot enjoy that game despite trying it out several times.

Do you find that when you walk over sharp level geometry that the camera doesn't smoothly transition up/down? I really want to enjoy GAMMA but the constant jerkiness of the camera was really off-putting to me. Even moving the camera left and right feels like it's moving 1° at a time. It doesn't feel smooth whatsoever but maybe it's my settings or my ultra wide monitor.

This game has been on my steam wishlist for quite a while. Looks like it'll scratch that old school resident evil itch.

I poured dozens of hours into 2.0/2.1. It's a really enjoyable game but I got burnt out trying to complete all the side gigs. Also there's still constant noticeable bugs.

I played it on PC and loved it even without the fancy DualShock features. I bet they're awesome.

I love how fast and responsive the movement is.
