  • I recall the old show Beastmaster was chasing a dryad or something and she left backwards tracks.

Other people were like "the tracks are going the other way!" And he had to explain that she's tricky like that.

  • That's valid.

There used to be laws to force news stations to be bipartisan and show both sides.

    Copypasta:

The "Fairness Doctrine," which once required broadcasters to present contrasting viewpoints on controversial issues, was eliminated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 1987.

  • Funny enough I was just reading a fantasy story with a mix of races building a city together.

Dryads talked to trees to relocate spirits.
Beavermen cut down all the trees with ease since spirits helped.
Dwarves got all the trees and made lumber / dwellings.
And the seemingly useless goblins were clearing the fields of leftovers/rocks so they had a prestine place to build dwellings.

So I pictured a horde of goblins cleaning up all the dimes at the headline.
Switching that over to children with the same energy and sounds fit hilariously.

  • Not sure if this is also a stab at how people in countries with good laws for food safety react to doritos.

I read an account of someone from the UK I think having a mouthgasm and eating several bags. Apparently its a common occurrence.
