  • "Mental outlaw" guy aka "Luke Smith" hologram on Lemmy! WuW

  • Am right to assume, that you're asking to help you with sending you there? /s

  • I'd even specify that. Loosing uBlock Origin on Firefox is like getting rid of the web per se.

  • Haven't you seen that here? /s

  • Simple Arch :)

  • Welp, actually Linux has a very decent stuck of printer drivers. Mostly, works out of the box unlike windowzzzz

  • Thank you for your lists, mind if i ask you where do you find this kind of info?

I am not sure if I got the question? I have been using uBO from the beginning and can clearly remember as year after year uBO was able to replace more and more extensions. Furthermore, I think (assume) that addon you are using has something to do with JavaScript and thus may be replaced with uBO. But you either know how to write the rules or know the list with those rules. Personally, I made a personal list for everything I need yet is not founded anywhere within available lists.

I highly recomend you to read the uBO documentation. It has all you may need to understand it better: uBlock Origin Wiki

  • Exactly! I had checked Lemmy half of a year ago when first time found it, and it was empty. Nowadays, I fully switched. I'm not going back to be there.

  • Well, usually that happens when Americans come it. They freaking love to add politics to anything. Since they are mostly leftist, they bash anything they don't like out of the sake of doing so. Brave is great, I have been using its search engine from the beginning and the browser when Blink engine is enforced, and I cannot use Firefox.

  • To be honest, it's not exactly working. When you use fingerprint randomization on Firefox, it shows that it differs, yet won't write straightforwardly that you are done with that. Instead, it says I do not have that randomization. It works only with Brave. Personally, I use Brave when Blink engine is required and Firefox as a daily driver.

  • I'd also add so-called cloud storage. There is no magical cloud, there's only someone else's server/PC. Don't trust it with personal data ever, or make your own "cloud" instaed.

  • Would you had asked me that half of a year ago, I say no. However, nowadays, Lemmy seems to be alive and useable. So yeah

  • I fully agree! I have no idea why would I need to pay $20 for an app when I have a bunch of alternatives that I like even more. Welp, I even like to use a browser instead of an app sometimes. But people are excited and are going to Lemmy, which is a good thing

  • Well, those are different servers, basically speaking. As for a user it actually rather won't be matter what to use. I made it oversimplified, but seems about right.

  • Oh, look! I have a weird windowzzzz with a weird dock! Is it windows 12!? /s

  • Well, that's nice to watch how people switch from reddit to the Lemmy. Foss internet is the best
