If Xitter is truly the "global town square" that they claim it is, how have they not been sued for election interference yet?

What do you think is at the bottom of these weirdo's barrel? Do they just try to claim that Harris and Walz are both secretly gay? Or trans? Or both?

One good thing about this era we find ourselves in is the growing understanding that the rich and powerful aren't smart or good in any way. As soon as all of us realize this, the sooner we can achieve a world run by those that are intelligent and interested in actually running things properly.

As someone who was raised evangelical in the very evangelical southern states, I think the American Christian religion has quite the part in pushing things for the country both further right and further capitalist. The evangelical work ethic combined with late stage capitalist propaganda create an environment that is toxic to notions like ownership of the means of production going to the people or the state being responsible for many things at all.

There's a lot of contempt bred in working class people toward the government generally due to capitalists destroying its capabilities to actually make things better. This function is creating a feedback loop that is actively pushing us even further toward a blatant fascist oligarchy (as opposed to the secret fascist oligarchy that has been functioning for at least half a century)

With all that said, as everything for our country is pushed further right the left has been dragged in that direction due to the goalposts being further and further dragged in the opposite direction.

The actions taken by Steven Crowder appear to be those of your typical piss baby. I think we need some anti-piss baby legislation on the books to prevent such regrettable behavior in the future.

To be completely fair, the confusion is because of the marketing. You and I both know that Tesla cars can't really drive themselves for the same reasons you outlined but the typical person sees "autonomous mode" or "self-driving" applied to what they are buying.

People treat llms like something out of a super hero movie because they're led to believe it to be the case. The people shoveling in the money based on promises and projections are the root cause.

As someone who watched the special I think his greatest crime is just not being funny and thinking he's brave for doubling down. He's a boomer with a fan base and tons of money. If anything, this thread is proof that cancel culture is fake. He's Elon musk if Elon musk used to be funny.

I just introduced my girlfriend to a couple episodes the other week. I love the show for so many reasons. It's proof we live in a cosmic comedy that Newsradio was one of the first steps that got us to this version of Toe Blowgun.
