Only if it's right by you or isn't in your bag or something. Hence audible alerts, they break through the physical barriers.

I don't really get the whole not answering the phone thing. I hate phonecalls but I always answer my phone.

The amount of important calls I'd have missed if I buried my head in the sand like that is insane.

Sure if 90% of the calls were sales or scams I'd think differently, but there are ways to prevent that too.

I find it weird that everyone has their phone on silent all the time too. If mine was on silent I'd never look at it unless I'm bored.

Similarly but not quite. I also have stuff pinned, but the quick launch also allows you to have a menu that you can open with a list of apps too. The icons are also much closer together, so in the space of 5 pinned icons, I can have 11 quick launch icons.

I think it can flip it on its head, give you a different perspective and maybe sometimes give you even more solid answers.

I know who I am mostly, have kind of come to terms with everything that isn't leftovers from the trauma of my life, but I still don't feel like what I want to be gender wise, my body just doesn't want that for me.

I have my most used applications there so I never have to hit the start button.

I couldn't get past the Taskbar long enough to not hate it unfortunately. I also missed quicklinks, which I use a lot.

Oh god yes, you can modify it in the registry (or you used to be able to) but then the date/time gets fucked up. I hate W11 so much
