  • I will try that, my brain will be less infuriated by it than by "I am not a fish"

  • Yeah, no kidding this was my family's discussion at New Year's Eve. And my Aunt could not understand what we meant. We gave her a book and everything and told her "Are you reading the book, or is the voice in your head reading the book to you?" To what she responded, "There is no voice here reading anything, I don't understand anything you are telling me"

Which, I cannot simply perceive how it works for her, does information simply enter like the kid absorbing knowledge?

I've got another fact that is a bit different When you imagine a Bar in your mind, you always imagine the same one.

  • So it's basically just like a muscle anywhere else twitching sometimes, thanks!

Now there's only understanding why can a sentence stop it is left to answer

  • You've got me curious so I checked the wikipedia definition which I pasted in another comment.

Here is a Cute link to the Wiki page for you to instantly get to the definition

  • For people like me that are curious:

A hiccup (scientific name singultus, from Latin for "sob, hiccup"; also spelled hiccough) is an involuntary contraction (myoclonic jerk) of the diaphragm or a disability that may repeat several times per minute. The hiccup is an involuntary action involving a reflex arc. Once triggered, the reflex causes a strong contraction of the diaphragm followed about a quarter of a second later by closure of the vocal cords, which results in the "hic" sound.

OP's note: myoclonic is fancy for a brief, involuntary, irregular (lacking rhythm) twitching of a muscle, a joint, or a group of muscles

  • I am part of the people who have the small voice in your head that you control most of the time, and which basically tells everything you think. This invented voice of my brain is the one that said "I am not a fish"

  • A Sega Mega Drive Car Game called: Lotus Turbo Challenge by EA from 1990

  • And now that I've discovered it I'm going to add that somewhere in a secret society in my DND adventure

  • Recently I've been looking at a guy that makes Damascus Steel weapon. Not that I'm gonna buy a sword or an axe anytime soon, nor am I going to make it

  • I've got in my room right now a game of mahjong riichi, and I can fully agree. Taught my family, and every time we play I have to reach it again. Made some friends discover to and everytime I have to explain there rules, because it's simply not a game any of them are used to. But I love it

  • 2.70GB, this month for me

  • Making my choice even harder. May I ask the beginner question of: Is there anywhere you have a desktop and can add files on it? I tried for a bit to play with Fedora and saw it was not possible

  • I went back on the game last week. There's 4 new levels and a "More to come" Happy to see there is more development. The new maps are very different it's nice. There are also now Contracts (Monthly/Weekly/Daily) where there are certain modifiers and a list of maps and it's basically a small competition on those criterias

I'm on Quest so I'm not certain I'll find you next time but I'll check!

  • Oh I am not able at all to draw too, I can't make it if I don't have an idea in my head (and then the technic is bad behind)

I started writing my DnD (Now Pathfinder 2) adventure/world because I was tired of waiting for someone to "maybe invite me some day" and I started very very simply

There is a King, he's old, he was a hero, and he looks like the old guy in Atlantis (Disney). Ok, now what. I guess the guy has a Kingdom, but that's really big and scary to write. So he has a big developed Greek City. If it's Greek then he must have a Greek God. I don't have any Greek gods made. So let's make like one God Hmmm god of knowledge yeah, and to not have to make to much gods, let's say it's like the main god of the city. Even better, let's say they made the city together ok So now there must be a big temple

And I continue and continue and continueto add one things after the other that's basically it and what makes building for roleplaying games fun

  • I'll say me writting my homebrew DnD world. It goes in pair with me using ObsidianMD, I love the tool i'm using and i'm having fun specifically in the making of polical cities more than in the making of combat senarios. My mom knows about it and sometimes asks, Dad finds it stupid, and I don't talk about it with anyone I used to atlk about what I write to two friends, but they are coming to my session in september so now I have no one esle to bring it up

  • May I ask by curiousity our of all the linux distro the one you appreciate the most?
