Second for godot!

I ran into the issue where I would hide read posts, but when I scroll it will load more posts I've already read. I hide them, scroll a few more posts and again I'm seeing already read posts.

So far this has been eliminated in connect(just started using it) also the hide read posts is off by default in connect.

Sync and connect both have block instance options.

BTW if you have blocked communities, that is account level and will travel with you when you install one of the other apps.

I'm pretty sure instance locking is app based and not tied to your account.

Awesome! Also someone else mentioned auto hiding of read posts. I can't seem to find that in the settings.

Edit: nevermond I scrolled past the "hide read posts" setting like 7-8 times.

With connect can you block whole instances for example block all @lemmy.world?

I just wish more apps would allow blocking instances. I don't want to hide all NSFW content, but hot damn there is a lot of different porn communities in @lemmynsfw and it is a pain to block each individually.

Sync has this feature. Liftoff does not and voyager(my old daily use) did not.

Sync also does feature markup settings that voyager does not like bold hidden text ¯(ツ)/¯

I surprisingly loved Yokos Island adventure. At first I was like what is this game, but it sucks you in.

Did you look for any of the stars. Some of them are quite devious where you have to connect lasers from one puzzle area to another, or find ways just "escape" a puzzle area with some equipment.

By the way talos principle 2 has a steam page up and is coming out by the end of this year or next year I think.

I am just starting the Fitz and the Fool trilogy. I have enjoyed the other trilogies in this series.

Looking forward to rereading mistborn so I remember wax and Wayne before jumping into the lost metal.

Thatars trilogy took me by surprise. At first it felt slow and dry, but I kept on. It definitely is a unique perspective on colonization and I really enjoyed it in the end.

I've read all these series. WoT seemed to drag toward the end and i didnt care for the last few chapters. It felt like there was too much to wrap up with too few pages so it felt rushed and unsatisfying.

I love all works by Sanderson so I've read all mistborn(except the new one from last November #7 I think). Excellent series. Have you read Elantris by Sanderson. I thought that was a very unique one off book that I couldn't put down.

I just started the final set in the farseer/liveship series. I loved the first farseer trilogy. I felt the second trilogy(live ship trilogy) had a significant change of pace and almost skipped it. I really liked the first person view of fitz. In the end it was good and there are a few tie ins to later trilogies.

That's a shame. I thought it was a fun game. I loved the botw but Greek gods feel. It felt fresh.

My biggest issue with FF is the lack of the ability to switch accounts easily. In Chrome I have a work account, a home account, and a side hustle account. Each has their own bookmarks, themes, passwords, and history.

I have tried using FF and the few workarounds to match this feature, but so far it has none worked as smoothly as chromes 2 button clicks to switch accounts.
