I have the family account but I'm not the one who will use this. Hopefully it's not a pain to switch who can claim this because currently it's limited to the main account holder.

Get on Reddit and comment that something other than AMD, Corsair or any other heavily shilled brand makes a better preforming product and you can experience this first-hand.

I wish we could just get back to an updated version of 7. Everything since has sucked.

It's not made up but I'm not going to name the school to a bunch of internet strangers. It's not in the US if that matters at all.

My classroom had this weird hidden "library" at the back of it and various teachers would randomly take students to the back of it under the pretext of performing "health checks" that really were them just taking us there and raping us. Mostly a few specific male teachers including the principal and my female teacher as well. One time I was selected to undergo a health check and refused and the teacher slapped me so hard across the face I fell out of my chair and hit the ground. This was in like second grade too so we were pretty young.

That school has been shut down and the buildings leveled now. No idea if anyone was ever persecuted over it though.

There are a lot of people that are actually too dumb to change platforms and assume apps like Reddit are the actual internet.

If you have a XBox you could try Jellyfin as there are apps that run pretty well on it. There's also an Android app so you could grab a $50 TV box from AliExpress and do it that way too. It'll also work via a web browser.

Jellyfin is also open source with no subscription fees for advanced features nor all the bloat that's tacked onto Plex as well. It's got a clean interface that I quite like too. It can take a little more work to get running though.

Also, the reason it's running poorly is likely because Plex has no hardware encoding at all unless you pay for it. When I tested it there was a huge difference for me in playback smoothness with it.

I thought competition is supposed to be good?

I think there's definitely growth potential here which is what motivated me to post it. Meme stonks going to the moon or something.

Well I've been on the planet for 40 years and it hasn't changed in that time as far as I remember.

It is unfortunately owned by Nestlé these days however it wasn't invented nor originally marketed by them. It was originally invented by an Australian as a way to improve the diets of kids during the great depression.

Like a lot of good iconic Australian brands they sadly sold out to American conglomerates over the years.
