For me is it starfield. I am a bit to hyped up for it. I will try to wait a year or more. Just like I did for cyberpunk and I was hyped for that game since the first trailer haha

If the price was max $1k, folding vertically and not a Samsung then I would get it. I got my self a tablet because I read and watch YouTube a lot. I rather have one device than two. So when I saw the new pixel did I get hyped then I saw the price...

It is a nightmare for us consults that is added as guest so we can join the calls and groups.. You need to jump between tenants and many have problems with seeing stuff or even be able to join a group. The preview is a bit better, I still need to jump between my customers tenants but now I at least get a notification if they write to me (have missed so many calls and messages...)
Yea I remember the texture as the problem and the lack of taste but I was maybe 9 so I don't remember exactly why it was so difficult to eat haha. Some soya and herbs would maybe have saved it for me

I dislike Samsung phones. Always has. But because they are so popular have I tried them two times (I am a bit of a advocate of try first criticize later)I am on one right now (s21). Bixby is my biggest source of annoyance together with all their other apps I can't uninstall and stuff I am used to be able to customize. Bixby wouldn't have been annoying if it wasn't because they force you to use it. I had to turn off the shortcut by setting it to turn off the phone only so now do I need to use a sidebar to do stuff like taking a screenshot. I got used to it but it annoys me when a standard is removed. It is like when you want to do copy on a computer and ctrl + C is an assistant instead and you need to use the mouse now because you can't bind the keys as you wish (it is either assistant or dead keys).
the battery is pretty bad too, I am not a heavy phone user (2-3h per day) but it is still at around 30% in the evening. My other phones has been Sony, Huawei and Motorola. So I am used to a battery that last for almost 2-3 days.
Samsung also overheat (and I guess that is why the battery is draining). I have my screen brightness at the lowest possible because that seem to be the reason it gets so hot(it gets extreamly hot in a short time on higher brightness) it will get hot if I use it for 15 min or more(non dark mode). My coworker had the same model and the battery almost completely died on him (it started to bloat up) so I am a bit worried the same will be true for mine.
One good thing is their dule Sim, I don't want to use two phones (work and private) and it is pretty easy to switch in the ui.
When this one is dead will I buy a pixel. I like to try out different models and phones even if I love moto.
Some day would I like to try a OS like calcy but I need to do more research first.
This is what I mean. This is why ppl would buy Spotify premium instead. Most do not hear a difference because of the devices they use. I am also pretty sure most do not hear much of a difference so that the price would justify it.
All the power to those that like Amazon but I have never bought anything from Amazon and never will. I always look up the cheapest option (that is trustworthy) which Amazon never is. Plus I don't like their business model just like I don't like media mark (they killed of many stores by selling for huge losses for years). we want competition so we want as many stores as possible, we also want experts, so I rather go to a store that sells x type of products not x, y, z and also b like Amazon do.
Also big stores like Amazon only makes sense in the physical form, jumping between stores online isn't physical draining.
Haha this is weird because I also use voyager and haven't seen any. Can you have multiple instances in one feed? I didn't see if it was possible. But now you know how you can "hide" all of the NSFW posts 😂

Do you think it is because of your instance? I haven't seen any porn at all and I am thankful for that. I am guessing no one in world ever went to a porn community or it is because I usually look in all + active or local + active.
I am guessing it will look like the fairphone(they let you remove the cover without tools), so like a standard looking phone but without the glue and easier to remove the cover, not as easy as before smartphones tho but doable.

Yes, we only see stuff from lemmy.bullshit to the point where lemmy.world were still in sync. So we can only see lemmy.world users interactions with post from lemmy.bullshit after the defederation. The same goes for them they can't see lemmy.world users interactions either. because what lemmy.world users are interacting with is a copy (of lemmy.bullshits original post) and isn't sending the updates back to lemmy.bullshit and the other way around, the original isn't updating the copy.
I want to add that to see who is blocking lemmy.world do you need to type with lowercase. I didn't see the list of "blocked by" when I wrote lemmy with a capital l.
I am with you. We could just make all the votes public. I don't see why votes are worse than comments? Or maybe I misunderstood everyone, but ppl talk like it is. It is good to inform everyone so they know. Many needs to learn how to surf the net. Also I think if ppl feel more responsible will they also act with care
