  • Pretty much any jrpg for Gameboy, DS, PSP and PS2 (haven't tried many newer). I loved them a lot as a kid/teen but now when I try to play them do I get bored very quickly... I think the audience is supposed to be kids and teens so I am not surprised I don't enjoy them anymore

  • Yes, I think other types of stores are better at it. But the stores that are only groceries, are there any that use that?

  • I saw it a bit late, they actually have a number assigned to the sign. Do they use a number system already? Who is it for?

  • I wish grocery stores (especially those you can also order from online) had a page where you could pick the store (if there are multiple) and then search for the thing you need and it had a number label that would be associated with the section it is in. This weird example from op would be: beer 10, butter 10, wine 10 etc without it being confusing because it isn't a category anymore and you only need to look in that section instead of looking like a lost kid running around in the whole store. Also filling up that big sign with just a number would be a lot easier to read from far away.

They can keep the categories if they stick to them, like meat, bread, snacks and so on so ppl who do not care about the number system can still kinda guess like today...

  • I am with you 100%! Instead of buying a mid tier chair did we get a high tier chair for the same price. It is good for the environment, your wallet and your body, big win!

  • I am with you I never considered that an option and I don't want to think about it either. But I do think our parents gets/got a lot (depending on how our grandparents lived) more than we will. My grandparents left house and money and even a vacation house so my parents could put the sould houses and furnitures money into building their own house. My mom even gave me and my sister a bit to use to buy our first apartments. It is still money even tho it is pretty sad way to "earn" money... I assume your friends parents lived in rented apartments if there was not much left.

  • No, but Crandall have it without the headrest for the same price. I am still contemplating if I like the headrest or not.

Crandall seem to have a lot of nice reviews so they seem like a good pick.

  • Welcome to the worlds of apps, where most files and folders are autogenerated so you need to use an ide made for it (in this case swift) to make sense of it. I work with apps so little now days that I forget the structure and get just as confused as I was the first time I saw it haha

  • A new chair, I had a gaming chair that killed my butt and back (was cheap and had it for 6 years) now I got a true ergonomic chair, and wow! I didn't think the difference would be as big as it is. I didn't want to sit by my computer because of the old chair. This one follows my body movement in the back so I can stretch and move without feeling restricted.

Here is a link to it, but I bought mine from a refurbish store that fix up office furnitures from companies and resell them so I got it for less than half the price and it is like new. https://www.steelcase.com/products/office-chairs/think/

  • Sound Only - only for media were watching would be boring like video podcasts, unless they hold something up then I look up for a bit. For only visuals - I rarely play mobile games with sounds or any other apps.

  • I laughed a lot when I saw this and I sent it to my parent who laughed too. This is my parents house right now. They want buttons for their lamps but they were forced to get an app for most of them and had to fight the company to put in buttons. They also got a ventilation system without buttons and they could not get buttons except if they payed for a very expensive hub, so they went for the app. But only one person can be connected at a time and you have to unpair before someone else can pair, so the app act as if it is the hub.. it is very strange

  • Understandable, but I can't really talk for someone else than my self. My example was about me being on time and therefore most do the same because it was something I felt was mutual. I would never tell them that they need to change for my sake, if I would then it would be for our relationships sake. How can I tell someone I wish them to be on time if I am not?

And ofc it is about interest, I want a harmonious relationship regardless what kind of relationship it is, to be respected then I need to respect the person back. It isn't like I walk around and think about this haha

But you did make me curious and I am still curious, so far can I only assume what you refer to.

I think we are talking about different things. To me is It not meant to be used against someone but to better yourself and understand consequences of your own actions. It is mainly said to kids like you said. But it sounds like you hear it a lot in arguments which is not how I think it should be used.

  • Why?

I think it has worked pretty well so far. You should never follow a rule strictly, it isn't law after all. But as a rules does it work. The few times I didn't follow it when I should did it bite me in the ass later.

A good example when it works in my favor to follow the rule: I am always on time or a bit early and all my friends who usually are late when meeting other friends are never late when we meet up, especially when it isn't a group meet up.

  • This reminds me of a post I saw were a guy had even made a lot of food that needs a lot of time and care. So when I saw that this guy went for only snacks in a bag (chips) I felt relieved. Sucks no one came but at least he can eat and drink what he bought when ever and invite ppl with the same setup on a later date.

  • Yes, everyone around me knows (I think most like I saw it in a news letter), but most of us do not know what it actually means. Some just know a few things about their own sign because those attributes was told to them and actually fit. So it is more like a way to give compliments if someone who knows tells you "oh you are x, no wonder you are so great at y!". So I have no negative feelings about it. I just don't believe in it.

The only attribut i know that isn't for my own sign is that Scorpions are horny ppl, my Scorpion friends brag about that. I don't know why.

As a kid was it common to use it more like a group name just like some use the seasons like winter, summer, spring, autumn child. Many tv series, games and cartoons used it (not in a serious way). I actually bought as a kid the wrong sign from a glas smith and didn't know it was wrong for many years, apparently it wasn't even close to mine πŸ˜‚

  • Nice try, but not this time. I think it is because it was the second word in the paragraph, I didn't get to start reading before it stoped. If the word switch had started on the second line so I had got up to speed with my reading do I think I would had been tricked haha

  • You could try running them with wine. I have done so with Photoshop but it was pretty long ago and it was not a subscription version of Photoshop, but maybe vs will work out for you otherwise you could try rider all my colleagues who did the switch after some learning curve loves it a lot more than vs. It is faster and resharper doesn't slow down like it do with vs.

  • I may have missed them but did ppl have strong negative opinions about how the story was written? I saw only bug reports. I played it two years after release on my steam deck with almost no bugs (the few I saw did not mater). It is a great game until you have done all the quests with a story and done all of the endings, after that was it pretty boring and the city felt lifeless and pointless, but up to that point was it great and engaging. But I never played update 2 or the dlc so that can have changed.

  • That is great to hear! I will check it out when my to-do list of games have gone down

  • I was actually very surprised dragon age is on the list. I have only heard bad things so I went and checked the reviews on it and I am even more surprised. I guess the game wasn't as bad as everyone tried to make me believe. It looks cool but you can't really tell how good a game is by checked some gameplay videos and apparently not reviwers opinions either haha

But why is a clicker game so popular tho? Isn't it better to play those on a mobile?
