Just in the same way we can point to McDonald's and say there is nothing good about it from a food perspective; that it barely even qualifies as food...

We can say the same thing about music. There is music that is so devoid of any kind of artistic output and merit, that no one could say it's good. In 2025 are still listening to musical greats from several hundred years go but in 50 years, nobody will have a clue who Nikki Manaj is

Yesssssss. Our entire family loved The Dungeon so much. My father wrote a letter to the developers and got a response, with excited descriptions of upcoming games in the series that never came to be. The producer or developer, or whoever wrote him back was bragging about how the next game would have characters you could actually see while in combat! (E: referring to The Arena)

You do not deal with these matters in regular civil court, these are handled directly through whatever tenany board is in your region. Most people, and that includes myself, won't even enjoy what is available in their own region

How does it make sense to go on a trip to Banff to go skiing, when there's a slightly smaller mountain 45 minutes away that you just won't bother going to? There's 7000 museums in every city; There is natural beauty all around... go!

Go these places first, and once you've exhausted what is available next door, then expand horizons

I think one of the biggest problems people have is that they assume there is some level of skill present in food service providers and restaurants - There really isn't.

Obviously many are skilled, but in a general sense, people don't know what they're doing with food and they just throw ingredients in a heap and heat it up.

The internet is filled with fake culinary people wearing blackly latex gloves, they have pig butchery tattoos, and they think a brioche bun is how you serve a hamburger. Like no.

I would like to correct the gut-brain connection. 95% of the time our gut tells our brain that it wants something, and it's trying to say it wants water, but the brain hears that the gut is hungry.

As a Canadian, I can declaratively say that our reputation for being polite is bogus. As a whole, we are a shitty, privileged, nasty group of people. Our country is built on colonialism and genocide, so you can only imagine what a shit pot this is.
