  • I had it installed for years, updated regularly, and ran into those errors too often to recommend it.

  • Breakfast blend is unspecific, but it's a mix of normal, not decaf coffee, aimed at being smooth, not too bold or acidic etc. Half caff is a blend of decaf and normal beans, so breakfast will have approximately twice as much caffeine. Light/dark roast and specific coffee bean type used will vary the caffeine levels.

  • Newpipe, you mean that app that displays an annoying "GURU MEDIDATION" error for 30% of videos? Try LibreTube, it actually works.

  • It's better than smoking but definitely still unhealthy, especially chain vaping like many do. You should talk to her, let her know you're worried about her health, and see if she might try reducing intake. I quit smoking cold turkey three years ago. It wasn't easy, I was extremely irritable for a month, but the cravings became bearable after that. An easy trade for higher quality of life and longer life expectancy with less wasted money.

  • Caffeine isn't terrible for you in moderate amounts, and coffee is actually a decent source or antioxidants especially if you don't get them elsewhere in your diet, but this is independent of caffeine itself (decaf has antioxidants). Daily high doses of caffeine is definitely bad for your health, and can negatively impact other health issues you may have such as anxiety, depression, etc. Do your research, talk to your doctor, and consider decreasing your daily intake.

  • We should ask him nicely to post some OC on Lemmy. :)

  • More like Newpipe but it actually works (GURU MEDIATION) and has nice UI. I just found it yesterday on FDroid, I recommend it.

  • Good bot.

First I've heard of Piped, found LibreTube on FDroid, it works great. Cheers!

  • I can count on one hand the amount of times I've had spiders crawl on me even while living with them, and yeah it still makes me squirm. They usually mind their own business.

  • Yeah, identify any actually dangerous spiders in your area and don't keep them, most are harmless though.

  • She might be able to overcome it with education and exposure.

  • I have the official Steam Deck Dock, a dbrand screen protector and thumb stick grips. For input I have a Steam Controller, a G502X wired non-RGB and an all-black Keychron V1 with Gateron Pro Reds, blank PBT keycaps and a marbled black resin wrist rest -- ninja board! Oxygen25 MIDI keyboard for music, I use FamiTracker to make chiptune and this is a great mobile studio. ATH-m50x headphones, they're good but I miss my old Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro.

I really hope they make a new Steam Controller with the same inputs as the Deck. I'm addicted to the back L4 L5 R4 R5 buttons. Heck I don't even need the trackpads. If anybody knows a third party controller with four back buttons like that, please let me know (especially if they function like the Deck's inputs and aren't hardcoded to ABXY or something).

  • I am allied with spiders against mosquitoes and bedbugs. I don't take down their webs (unless they're in the way) and they eat hundreds of the fuckers. They're also fun to watch sometimes.

  • Ehh, it's mostly so I don't have to look at it every time I open my home directory. Some devs have fixed it, others I've written and given instructions/ documentation for how to place config files properly (it takes minutes) and I get a lazy reply like "we have no plans to develop this game further". Well, I have no plans to support your dev team further.

  • There are a few games that plop their configs directly in my home folder, you know a way to move them?

  • Edit: Please stop posting stupid image memes or unhelpful messages. This interferes with Valve's ability to sift through the noise and see if anyone can figure out what triggers it.

  • I'm still getting used to Lemmy. Does anybody know why I see no posts when viewing the lemmy.ml instance but I see posts when viewing it via lemmy.world?

  • Not ready yet
