You downvote me for agreeing that Schumer needed to be primaried but noting the nuance of the infighting that would happen from it? You even responded so it added to the conversation. Sorry just seems odd use of that.

I think the people would agree and he would win the appearance game but I think the party would close ranks hard on anyone saying anything against Schumer and he would be ousted completely and smeared.

I agree he didn't have a second punch ready I just think no second punch would be big enough yet. Wish it was more of a fight but the DNC operates as unit when it's their own money and appearance on the line.

3 months short for me but that's because it took me that long to figure out how Lemmy worked.

I guess my question is, whether you can say Chuck Schumer needs to be primaried within a party who elected him as minority leader?

There is of course actually better options as well but they too have friends and calling out names with their resources and lack of conviction of other party members it paints a target on you.
Blue conservatives have their own friends and he did not. I'd probably stumble my way through as well trying to find a path forward. I think the problem is there is none while the culture is so against even treating it like a proper job instead of a club.

He wasn't prepared but I think the end result would likely be the same.

It really is frustrating that he thinks the only way to position to win is cash in the bank and no question of the effectiveness of members of the party. Especially when we have such a limited number of positions we can fill.

I think he just liked having an easy answer to why it's not going well in the existence of David Hogg.

It's wild that they view their age and incumbency issues as unrelated to their performance in the past decade.
As, apparently, doing and saying nothing to upset status quo is the standard of the current party and has been said so by new Chair Ken Martin.

It literally means no push for better candidates that better represent the people for one thing and doesn't even begin to get into the number of DNC party members who have died in office in the past years of age related issues.

I'm sure they will have ads in the Xbox launcher because why wouldn't Microsoft.

But it does look like it essentially kills all the graphical and backend items of windows for single loading this UI from the videos, and then boots up the extra items when requested for the full OS.
I would actually be worried it won't properly kill them swapping back and then you lose the gains until a reboot.

I really want this to be a low margin device they sell meant to boost gamepads subscriptions and it ends up being easy to modify or control cause I would literally reward them with the subscription for that.
If only they can resist being Microsoft.

My problem with steam is is trying to run anything that isn't steam without having to go fully into the Linux OS with a keyboard attached.

That and the whole super drained battery from having to be on to update any games thing.

So agreed, just think it's wild that there is enough money hoarding and spending in any state in the US to beat out lots of countries for GDP and sets the US as the battery that powers the global economy at our pain. I do hope we just drain the battery rather than light it on fire.

The polluting the waters they go bit is one of my only concerns to push back against. Depends on the ship but they shouldn't be actively polluting the water and when they do it is a mistake or the annoyance of lack of laws letting someone be lazy.

Food waste is sterilized and neutralized to be be able to either dump into the ocean if it can or be disposed of later. All trash is sorted and recycled or burned for fuel with scrubbers removing heavy pollutants from the smoke stack.

Quite a few ships actually get unprocessed gas as the processing generates the lubricant they need for the engines and allows for less chemical release at the site of the processing. And is offloaded once spent to chemical handling companies.

They even purify their own water before dumping it using algae and enzymes before uv sterilizing it.

They just mess shit up in ways that are also hard to explain, such as oasis class ships were so large that then traveling to Venice had an issue where the vibrations of the motors were shaking the foundation of the city and causing parts to collapse. Their wake churns algae from water oxygenation and so much more. But they are more or less just a city on the water with all the ups and downs of a regular one with more classism.
