  • Did you know someone made an online tool for calibrating the sticks for dualshock controllers?
It saves the config on the controller too so it stays when you go back to the PS5.

Just as an option to replacing the sticks again.

  • It was the fact that they didn't show a new UI or added features to the base console. It's effectively only a Nintendo game player and nothing else where as previous consoles were also note taking apps and a calendar and you could doodle animations or even take photos on some of the DSs.

They added no other functionality to this console and left it with less than previous ones. It only plays the games and that's it.

At least a steam deck you can use a browser and watch videos on it too if you really wanted. The only reason to buy the switch is the games now which makes the price per game astronomical effectively.

  • You are gonna spend over $700 for a few first party games?

I'm just asking cause that's the cost, $500 console plus extra controller plus the games quickly blooms into nearly a $1000 purchase for a few games.

I just can't justify spending $250 per game I would play on it currently.

  • They announced it at the Xbox showcase which was basically a direct.

I would be a little shocked if they didn't actually believe they could make this timeline since it's with the previous 4 years. Just being grumpy about how loose they have been with this title and even still the release date.

  • I'm so pissed.

    $450 for the base console

    • $40 in tax
    • $60 for the proprietary memory card that only comes in 256GB
    • $70 $80 for the game ($90 with tax)
    • $30? Dollars for the hardware demo that should be included to learn the system
    • $50 for Nintendo online +
    • all the other stuff they seem to demand their customers pay and apps we have to install
    • more ways to give them money if you want the switch 2 upgrades on games you own or want to play with the hardware at all.

This is $700-$800 just to play a couple of games.
Every other game showed basically was not exclusive. But they didn't even show me a reason to get the hardware in all that. No updated eShop or drawing and productivity apps like the DS. No browser or Bluetooth confirmed. In fact they confirmed that the voice chat only works with the console mic.

Give me back a Nintendo that gives a crap and doesn't just want money trying to make kinect 2.
