  • There is no limit that I know of.

  • There is libimobiledevice for interavting with ios devices, you might want to check it out

  • There is so much things you can fit into a meme

  • Do you plan a flatpak packaging for the GUI in the future?

  • Pencils are bloated, I use me own blood for that.

  • I use newsflash for this, not the best app but still does all I want.

  • Said the windows only software.

  • Same as you,it seemes like an awesome project, I'd love to at least here from the dev about the status, I understand if he doesn't have time anymore, but at least an update for the community would be awesome.

  • Well, if people doesn't know what your software is and where to find it, it's going to be hard for them to contribute! Also, you're an iOS dev, which is not that common in opensource in my opinion

  • Tbh i never use github search to find a specific project, except when I already know the name and what it does. I'd suggest you post links of your project in the opensource community, maybe find some matrix channel too and asks for feedback. Also, maybe no one else is in the need of what you've built, keep posting updates as your project advence in lemmy or elsewhere and people might givz it more attention!

  • Fedora, really uptodate software, GNOME, stability of a server distro.

  • Don't use Windows Server for homelab, I'd recommand using Proxmox and make VM and LXC, this will be way easier to backup and manage.

For DNS You should use something like PiHole, which can be setup in a small Debain LXC and works like a charm!

  • I really like this system as a bonus points, a thing you gain from being an active member, I know it can be abused and bring karma-whore, but I really hope they will not remove it in the future.

  • I've never heard of Nextclouf AIO, do you have links?

For the RAM, the 200mb free and 7GB available, it's because linux uses ram for caching things, but this ram used for cache can be freed right away when needed (this is the 7gb available)

If i'm not mistaken docker will take all the ram it needs.

In my personnal setup I use Portainer to manage things with a UI and Ive setup nextcloud with the Stacks functionnality of Portainer (it's just multiple docker compose) and in the stack I have Nextcloud server and a Nextcloud mariadb database (and maybe something else ? I might be forgetting some things) have you tried setting up Newtcloud this way ? I suppose the AIO is bundled with the db and the server as one image?

  • Good. People should use mastodon and the fediverse anyway.

  • WatchTower can auto uodate your container or notify you when an update is available, I use it with a Matrix account for notifications
