  • as little as one hot dog a day

That is a lot processed meat to be eating if its every single day. Who is buying more than a pack of sausages per person each week? Also hot dog sausages are surely some of the worst sausages for being highly processed. Don't forget about the strange bread used in hot dogs too. That must have a shitload of stuff added to it or it would be stale and mouldy. Bread shouldn't still be fresh days later.

  • My ISp shares a single IPv4 between multiple customers, NAT 444.

So my PC is on 192.168.1.4 on the LAN, my router is on 10.183.13.62 on my ISPs network and some number of customers are sharing 84.146.73.54

They don't give out IPv6 addresses though.

  • Generally agree but also consider power usage. Of course it also depends how often its powered on or not. If its used a lot then buying newer hardware may well be cheaper just in the energy saved, though if its off most of the time then its less of a concern.

  • If the majority of people did, it actually would make a massive difference. This whole "but billionaires" and "but corporations" is just being used as an excuse to do absolutely nothing by far too many people.

All of those people doing nothing are why we are in this mess.
