Maybe but we don't know where this is, stair styles could vary in different regions.

Scrolling through indeed right now, its not great. Maybe just give up trying to find anything I have skills for and find something unskilled?

But I think my contract states once a month in the office so if I can argue that its probably worth staying and just going through a shit commute once a month. Still not great but probably slightly better than taking a local retail job.

And I just found out I need a new job as we are being ordered into the office after they moved it 50 miles away.

Things are not looking good. I think they will hit us with another round of redundancies after some people leave too.

Surely it depends how you live though. A guy spending just £15 a week on food and living in a tent is not wealthy just because they have £2k in the bank which will cover them for a few years.

I used to rent a single bedroom in an overcrowded house share, didn't learn to drive because I couldn't afford it.

Had over a year of expenses saved, hardly makes you rich.

1-2 years before I need to look at selling the house, although hoping that the mortgage will drop when our 2 year fix ends which could push that time up a bit as that is by far my largest expense.

Honestly not noticed that because I just don't give a shit. It's a pride flag, surely it isn't going to hurt even the most delicate snowflake.
