I've been toying with the idea of having my 41st birthday at Chuck E. Cheese just because I think it would be funny. But if they're gonna add stuff specifically for adults, it loses all comedic value. 😩
I can think of one hypothetical where one might be able to be both: If you make money faster than you can give it all away, through no fault of your own. While highly, extremely, unfathomably implausible, it might be possible.
Though in Zelda bombs are a plant. They just grow like that. There are also enemies that are bombs, and magic exists to create bombs. All of which have been used as canon explanations for the bombs in the games.
I've never felt patriotic. It's not like I chose to be here and, frankly, the more I learned about the rest of the world, the more I dislike about my own home.
Also fireworks are boring af unless you're manipulating them to be more dangerous and blowing things up. Like hammering down a whistler and tossing it into a porta potty where an ICE agent is taking a shit.
It, like most games of the era, followed the rule of cool. As such, it references a ton of similarly themed media. A lot of which was cyberpunk, conspiracy theories, and general sci-fi. All the unique ideas in the game are really just in the game part. The story and all that is almost all entirely lifted from other sources. So it makes sense to me that they didn't project their own message into the game. It doesn't say anything the media that inspired it hadn't already said.
