People buy them because they are cheap. Ecotanks and Laser printers with good features cost a lot more upfront. Not everyone thinks things through long term.

Then get an epson ecotank. That being said, those toner cartridges last so long that I don’t mind paying full price for one every few years.

My mom used to have an HP inkjet with an ink subscription. It stopped working and so she asked me to trouble shoot it. I did a factory reset (per the employee written intrusions on the HP forum) and when I booted it back up, it refused to use the ink cartridges inside of it. Turns out factory resetting it made it think the ink cartridges inside of it were not connected to her HP subscription. And because the printer last reported it has plenty of ink, she couldn’t get new cartridges from HP. When I called HP to try to get it resolved they said I would have to pay for someone to come out and fix it.

I will never buy anything from HP again, even if it’s an ecotank.

Their app isn’t too bad (at least for now). It has enough data collection that I wouldn’t want to download it, but it isn’t just strait spyware like some fast food apps cough McDonald’s.

They never explicitly voted to keep confederate flags. That being said, one of the many types of flags that are allowed are those deemed “protected historical items” as defined by TN Code § 4-1-412 which does include items relating to “any war, battle, or military conflict in which citizens of the United States or any state or territory of the United States have participated in”.

Funny enough, this law would allow you to carry an Iranian, Soviet, or other flag that would piss people off.

I know this is a joke about the stupid Apple mouse, but a car with a bottom (and normal) charging port would be pretty cool. Imagine just pulling into your garage and a giant MagSafe charger snaps to the bottom of your car. (Yes, I know this is unreasonable with current technology due to poor energy efficiency)
