I see, my knowledge is surface deep so I admit this is new information to me.

Is there no way to ensure LLMs are safe for like kids to use as a tool for education? Or is it just inherently going to come with some risk of exploitation and we just have to do our best to educate students of that danger?

Yep, I was having a conversation with a guy that informs policy makers on ai, he had given a whole presentation to a school board meeting I went to a few nights ago.

He said that's his highest recommendation when it comes to what should be done on the lawmaker side, pass bills that push for opening up those black boxes so we can ensure transparency.

I would be surprised if all major companies didn't have ex military security for that night, probably could even pay employees less to extend purge night protections to them and their families in the process. Though that wouldn't be without risks.

There are 3 cockatiels living with me(I rescued them, not in Australia) and I had a pen with a string attached to it and was writing when two of them flew over and started fighting over the knot in the string, not an active fight just one would start chewing on the knot and then the other would pull it away and back and forth it went for a good 20 minutes.

I really enjoyed watching them passive aggressively fighting over a toy, it was cute.

What do you think Israel should be doing to lower the number of innocent civilians killed?

They're already doing way more to prevent civilian deaths than most people would expect, conversely hamas goes out of their way to kill innocent civilians every chance they get.

If they just wanted the land, peace be damned why'd they give the Sinai peninsula back?

If you look at how the west bank is treated vs Gaza you'd see that Israel is willing to give peaceful people autonomy.

And I agree Israel is fucking abhorant for the illegal settlements, and they should be punished for it, there is no excuse for them.

This is literally the opposite of the truth, look at how Israel has made peace with every other Arab nation in the area after they came to the table for peace, fighting will just end in more subjugation and loss of territory, that is the story of Israel and Palestine

Israel tries to make peace, Palestinians refuse and fight then lose more land, ad infinitum

I mean seriously, all the facts are on Israel's side.

Now, I still think their actions against Palestinians are fucked up but until Palestinians actually do some work towards peace nothing will be solved.

And we'll be talking about it in 40 years as it's not on Israel to bring peace to the table when they tried to do that for decades back in the 1900s and each time the Arabs spit in their faces.

I see nothing in any of those articles that is an indictment of democrats as a whole, i see an article about general city scummery, a red state doing red state shit, and an article about republicans doing fascism.
